The darkest of dark nights falls to the earth,

it's black cape covering the world,

destroying any kind of hope.

Ash's heart is heavy,

his soul is worn.

Is it posible, what's really going on?

Is there a way out,

a way that doesn't kill on the inside?

Walking along a lonely beach,

salty tears fall to the ground, but from more than two eyes.

Dawn sits on a rock, on a hill

her own tears fall to the stone below.

Dawn by name, but the dawn to her darkness doesn't appear.

Stuck waiting for her prince, a prince...who may be waiting for a knight in armour...

Gary's in a forest, on a branch,

but the forest is cold, without the warmth of his only love.

But why, why must the girl love him as well?

Tears drop onto leaves on a lower branch.

Slowly, the dark night makes way to the twilight,

and the silver light dances into their eyes,

but not into their souls,

not into their hearts.

A silver blade flashes in the twilight,

ready for the owner's last act.

Raising the knife high,

Ash plunges it into his own heart.

And here you are now,

before us in your coffin,

here you are now,

ready for your newest journey.

To save the ones you loved,

you took your own life,

you were brave to do this, but...

it was foolish.

Dawn and Gary both miss you,

neither of them came.

Their hearts have more sorrow then ours do,

because their hearts had something our hearts do not.

Their hearts had a love beyond our own,

their hearts had a flaming passion.

Now, those hearts are shattered,

and your act was in vain.

Trying to save them both,

you have destroyed them.

You didn't mean to,

but you have.

Never was there a story more sad,

then the story of Gary, Dawn...and Ash.
