I shot my eyes open in a flash. I was in a pool of soaking sweat, being completely unaware of my future surroundings. I extended my left arm to the side, and patted my palm on the covers searching for my phone, only to find an empty spot where my phone usually remained during the night hours.

I stopped my movement, I had already sensed that something was out of place. "I just set my phone down besides my pillow last night..." I slowly stood up from my bed. I put one foot down first, and then the other for balance. "Oww!" I exclaimed out loud.

I picked up the object that got wedged into the creases of my foot. It was a small, red bow tie. I played around, and marveled at it for a few seconds before setting it down on the table. I felt a sense of familiarity toward the object... But it was like I hit my head against a hard surface, I couldn't remember where I had seen it before.

I took a few steps closer to the window, i peered outside my window. The houses appeared... Different? I scratched my head in confusion, only to find that my hair was extremely short; a typical guy's haircut. My trembling hands lowered themselves back to my sides.

I moved slowly towards the doorway, the floor creaked some. I placed my hand upon the knob and slowly turned it clockwise. Why had my legs felt so stiff? So many questioned were rummaging through my mind. I proceeded to enter out into the hallway, making my way to the nearest bathroom.

The sun's rays were hitting the floor and the walls, they were illuminated. The sight really hurt my eyes. I took one step into the bathroom and flipped the light switch on, I jumped in my place.

I was... A young man? Where were my female features? My long hair? My short height? After that, i thought it was pretty safe to assume that i hadn't actually woke up. "This must be a nightmare." I thought. I shrugged and went along with it. There shouldn't be much to be concerned about, I'll wake up eventually, right?
