Disclaimer: I do not own bakugan

The resistance van was filled with the sound of an argument that had been going on for hours.

Mira and Ace were on the other side of the room from a frustrated Baron, who had quickly learned that nothing could drown out the sound of his fighting teammates.

"Ugh, will they ever stop, Nemus?" Baron groaned.

The haos bakugan sprang open in Baron's palm, "I do not know, Baron."

"Got any idea what they're fighting about?"

"Beats me. I stopped listening a while ago."

The pair tuned back into the yelling, trying to figure out what the argument was about.

"You can't be serious, Mira!" Ace yelled.

"Of course I'm serious! It's not like I need your approval anyway!" Mira replied.

Baron looked back down to Nemus, "Well, I don't know what they're fighting about, but I have an idea how we can get them to stop!"

"What exactly is this idea?" Nemus asked warily.

"It'll get them to be quiet and that's all that matters," Baron responded, heading off to find the necessary supplies.

Baron picked up three things during his search: A yardstick, a roll of duct tape, and a can of soda.

His bakugan just stared at the assorted objects with confusion, "What is all this junk for?"

"It's not junk, Nemus," Baron laughed, "It's stuff for my ultimate plan. You'll find out soon enough."

"Oh brother…" Nemus muttered, knowing this couldn't end well.

"I said no!" Ace yelled.

"I'm saying yes!" Mira countered.

The argument became audible again as soon as Baron and Nemus were standing in the hallway outside of the room.

"Now, the plan is that I go in with the yardstick and the duct tape, and then put the tape over their mouths so they'll be quiet! Finally, I run like heck and use the yardstick if necessary. When I'm done I can drink my soda!" Baron explained.

"I don't think that's such a good-" Baron had already left by the time Nemus finished the sentence.

"AHHHHHHH! Protect me NEMUS!" screamed the terrified Haos brawler as he fled from Ace, who evidently did not like having tape put over his mouth. It also hadn't helped when Baron had yelled, "Hey Mira! Ace loves you!"

Instead of slowing Ace down from shock, which was what Baron had intended, it set Ace after him with even more fury.

Yardsticks were also ineffective. Ace hadn't even stopped to look at the piece of wood Baron threw at his feet.

"Get back here, Baron! You're dead meat!"
