Edward's point of view:
I stepped around the corner two minutes before noon. I took my shirt off and waited just stood there. I closed my eyes.
"Edward stop!" Bella's voice yelled.
I'll be with you soon enough. The noon bells rang.
"Edward, NO! Edward look at me!" She kept on yelling.
I did. My mind saved the most beautiful face in such wonderful definition it was almost real. Bella's perfect face was in my mind for the last moment.
Suddenly my chest stopped stinging. I actually heard and felt her heart. I didn't open my eyes. It was to real. Was I dead?
"Edward come ON!! You have to move NOW!" She screamed. I opened my eyes slowly. She was there. Her warm, ivory skin. Her soft lips moving but I couldn't hear what they were saying. Her beautiful silky smooth hair. And finally I looked down into the most beautiful thing in my world. Her milk-chocolate eyes so warm so deep staring at me in frantic. "Edward they're coming you have to move NOW!!" I put her arms down on my chest then put my cheek on her's and whispered:
"Death hath sucked the honey of thy breath, hath had no power yet opon thy beauty."
Then the most delightful smell I've ever smelled in my life finally came into my nose. It made the most wonderful sting in my throat. If I stung she was alive. If I hurt she was with me. I waited for the bloodlust to come over me but... It never came. I smelled her. The smell was wonderful. But the lust to have her never came.
"I'm not dead," she said. I know.
