It was late in the night. Around midnight one would say. Beast Boy got up after listening to a far away crying sound, and a quiet and hoarse voice singing a lullaby in a strange language that Beast Boy wasn't able to identify. Walking around the Titan Tower, he made a stop at the kitchen, drank some water and kept following the lullaby sounds — the crying had stopped somewhere between his quarters and the kitchen.
He was gifted with a nothing but ultimately cute scene. His wife of two years hold his first kid, a boy with fair skin and purple eyes and a kind of green hair, while breastfeeding the little boy. Gar sighed, merrily. His day had been totally a mess, with Cass and Virgil fighting over nothing and a criminal that almost got his way to avoid jail. But everything got better when he got home and saw Raven holding his little beast-empath, kissed her and played with his kid (Raven was forbidden to take missions since she had given birth in less than a month ago).
His day could have sucked, but someway just seeing them could make everything worth it. It was like a save point.
But a save point way too better than the videogame ones, where there was creepy music and stuff.
