There just isn't enough Trollhunters fanfiction, and I decides I wanted to write a bad fanfic.
[Disclaimer: I don't own Trollhunters.]
Jim inhaled, breathing in the beautiful spring air as he walked alongside Claire to a nearby cafe. He had just left the dark lands two weeks ago, and he was still adjusting to the normal world once again. After coming back from the dark lands, he had learned to appreciate the little things, like the beautiful scent of spring and the feeling he gets when he holds Claire's hand.
He opened the door for Claire ("Ladies first," he told her, and she giggled). He entered the cafe right after her, grabbing her hand again and walking towards the barista.
They ended up ordering two cookies and one milkshake for Claire, and they sat on a table next to the window. Claire shared her milkshake with Jim ("Sharing is caring," she reminded him with a soft smile, and he felt his heart flutter just at the sight of her smile). They talked about whatever came to mind, their hands still connected as he laughed at the story she told him.
He sighed happily, glad to be back in the normal world. "I missed you, Claire," he told her honestly. She smiled softly again, and she replied with, "I missed you too."
But then she was looking at her lap, a small frown on her face as if her lap had done something awful to her. "What happened there, Jim?" she asked, sadness laced within her voice. He knew she still felt awful about not going to the Dark Lands with him. Only a few days ago, he had talked with the Trollhunters about his mistake. Only a few days ago, he had learned what his best friend, his surrogate dad, his close friends, and his girlfriend thought about his reasons to leave to the dark lands alone. Still, he hadn't told them what happened, or how everything happened. He hated thinking about the hell called the dark lands and told his friends so.
Jim frowned as he looked at his half eaten cookie. "I- A lot happened, and I'll tell you all about it once we're with the rest of the Trollhunters, ok?" He squeezed her hand comfortingly as he looked at her. "I'm fine now. So is Enrique. Don't worry about it."
Claire frowned. "Just promise me you'll never do something like that again."
He smiled softly at her and nodded. "Your wish is my command, fair Claire." She smiled back. "Oh, shut it, Romeo, or I'll make you." He grinned goofily at his girlfriend, and she grinned back.
She placed a kiss on his lips quickly and took his half eaten cookie. "Sharing's caring, Romeo."
He smiled at her. "Whatever you say, Juliet."
This sucks, but I tried! I hope you liked it everyone.
