Will delete this if it isn't allowed but I'm looking for a story that I thought I had bookmarked. I can't quite recall specifics but I do remember that Dr Skirth and Maria too I think don't die in this one and it takes place in the time jump during the movie after the explosion and before Eddie gets Venom back.
I remember one scene where Eddie is staying at Anne and Dan's place and they're trying to help him but he doesn't really want it without Venom so he's pretty much just wasting away. He's in their garden and overhears a conversation from their bedroom window above where Anne says something like "All the other hosts died, Eddie's the first to last so long. Maybe this is as long as he can last." Something like that. Eddie then starts feeling guilty about that and leaves later on. I think he eventually stumbles across Maria and she has Venom so they're reunited. He also scared Anne and Dan because his note he left made it sound like he was suicidal so he gets scolded/quietly yelled at the end.
Sooooooo…. Anyone know this story? And if so, can you PLEASE let me know.
