PROLOGUE: DON'T LISTEN

Me and Chad. Chad and me. Us. We. We were essentially—and in all reality—a Cinderella story. You may disagree; Romeo and Juliet—minus the dying—is every girl's dream, her fantasy, her standards for a romantic relationship; her challenge for a soul mate. In my experience, Romeo and Juliet didn't apply, no matter how forbidden a relationship with Chad may be, the romantic appeal to disobey the opposing sides overwhelming, Shakespeare's tragedy was non-applicable.

Instead, Cinderella and her fairy tale were more fitting. A maid and her prince. A small town girl and her, if anyone's, movie star. It's a classic. Unfortunately, with Cinderella—and Ariel, Belle, Snow and Aurora— they left out the reality of the story.

Because in this so-called "reality" Cinderella never would have gotten the guy. Her dad never would have died. And he never would have an evil stepmother and two ugly stepsisters. There would be no happily ever after. And I know that I sound like Patrick Dempsey in Enchanted, but it's true. Fairytales. Don't. Exist. So, in the words Prince Charming's evil stepmother , "I'm sending her to a place where there are no happily ever afters." Reality. After all, the clock has to strike twelve some time.

Don't listen.

So... OOC, much? I've been wanting to do an OOC fic for a long time. But I got... distracted. So, my mom's friend hooked me up with this book called Outlander. And it. Was. Ah-mazing. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone under sixteen. It's pretty graphic. It takes place in Scotland, year 1743, and, well... I now have quite a taste in sexy Scotsmen with names that start with Jamie and end with Fraser(: I bet Chad would make a sexy Scotsman(: (: (:

So... first, um, let's say... three reviewers get "Sexy Scotsman Chad"—let's call him SSC—and my gratitude... unless I keep SSC for myself... ;)
