This is a poem I wrote from Naruto s perspective. I thought maybe he was feeling like this after chapter 437.

Words: Naruto`s poem(chapter 437)

I`m wondering aimlessly in my empty thoughts.

Not really empty, though…

Through all of this agony, I`m still pondering this newfound sensation,

And these words that you truly said from the bottom of your heart:

I

Love

You.

This display of selflessness and devotion could mean the world to someone.
I know that your not lying;

Somehow, I was so oblivious, but now, it all makes since.

Your vow to protect me, and the sincerity of your words

Makes a wellspring of emotions well up inside of me.

I think I realized, now, that you mean so much to me.

Withou your friendship, your care, who knows were I would`ve ended up?

I think I love you, but before I can utter these words,

Your blood speckles over my face.

I watch as your limp body falls to the ground, nearly motionless.

I feel the tears close now, my unheard scream echoes softly through empty space;

The wind carries it to your ear,

But you hear nothing.

I cannot accept your spirit leaving this earth.

Such anger rises through me,

My body is on fire.

So long as I am alive,

Nothing I care about shall perish: Especially not you.
