Roxas POV

I admit, when I heard about the Halloween Dance at school, I thought it was lame at first.

My best friend Axel and his girlfriend Larxene pestered me until I agreed to come to the dance tonight, but they aren't the real reason why I decided to go.

My friend Sora asked me If I was going 'cause he didn't wanna be alone with the lovebirds. I kinda, sorta have a small crush on him, but I'd never let him know that.

So I said sure, and now I was walking to Radiant Garden High's auditorium wearing the BEYOND embarrassing costume my Brother Ventus tricked me into wearing.

Everyone stared at me as I walked past, and I knew I would be known as "Crossdresser Roxy" till graduation.

I was wearing my mom's old RGH girl's uniform, a short sleeved white shirt that hugged my torso, a blue and black checkered tie and skirt, and a pair of blue heels.

The main thing that had people staring wasn't just that I was in a girl's uniform, but that the skirts back then were really short.

I shook those thoughts out of my head and looked for Sora, Axel and Larxene.

I eventually found them getting drinks and I called out, "Axel!" All three of them turned and their jaws dropped to the floor when they saw what I was wearing.

I smirked as I walked closer to examine their outfits.

Larxene wore a floor-length black dress with lace covering the skirt, a black lace veil and 2 inch black heels. Axel was wearing the Disney-esque rendition of the Mad Hatter's costume: top hat, Victorian-era coat, the whole deal.

Lastly, Sora was wearing a black shirt with a pair of eyes on it, one open the other winking with the words "Bite Me" scrawled in red and midnight black jeans.

The weird thing was, while he wore this shirt, he pulled out a pair of vampire teeth from his mouth.

Axel was the first to snap out of the daze and he automatically took Larxene's attention again. Sora however couldn't stop staring at me, his eyes wandering lower then they should have.

He shook his head and said, "Wow, that's quite a costume."

"Yeah. Ven made me wear it, the bastard," I said sheepishly, running a hand through my blonde spikes.

"Hey! Y'all should come out on the dance floor! The DJ just announced the first slow song of the night!" Demyx said excitedly, grabbing Larxene and Axel by the wrists.

"Wanna dance?" Sora asked, holding his hand shyly towards me. I smiled gently and took his hand, leading us to the dance floor.

"Okay, everyone I suggest to grab a partner and enjoy this next song. This is for all the couples out there." The DJ said into his microphone.

The beginning notes of "This Kiss" by Faith Hill started playing and I blushed. This song? Oh thanks, Dem! I thought silently.

Outwardly I locked my arms around Sora's waist and his snaked around my neck. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Axel and Larxene in the same position, except much closer.

I decided to take a chance and danced so close to Sora that our chests touched. His beautiful blue eyes widened at the closeness but he didn't back away.

I wondered if I he could feel how fast my heart's beating. "Y'know, I'm glad I came tonight," I whispered, inching closer to Sora's mouth.

At the last second I whispered, "Sora~" before I touched my lips to the brunette's. I closed my eyes and held Sora closer to me.

When I was gonna break away, I suddenly felt Sora's lips react and move with mine, making the kiss deeper.

When we did eventually break away,we kept our forehead's touching, both of us breathing heavily, looking into the other's blue eyes.

"I'm glad you did too, Rox," Sora whispered into my mouth, tightening his grip around my neck. "Remind me to thank your brother for getting you in this outfit," the brunette whispered giving me a once over and initiated another kiss.

I chuckled into the kiss, not noticing our best friends smirking at us.
