Note: I would have made Hiei the star buuut he makes a good character. I don't own Candyland or YYH or um basicly anything worth having legal junk on.
Chapter 1:
Candy Chaos
Kurama awoke under his Plum Tree. Huh? My Plum Tree? Kurama thought. Suddenly things came to relization and all around him he noticed nothing seemed familiar. He was in a clearing with a Plum Tree in the center.
"My head.." Kurama said clutching his head and gazing at the tree.
"Well I'm not suprised, you fell here."
"A talking tree...I'm most probally going crazy and this is an hilusionation(a/n: yep spelled wrong)" Kurama said looking at the talking Plum Tree.
"Now isn't a time to joke. Every second you waste you become more like Plumpy." The tree barked(a/n:corny I know)
"Plumpy?"
"He was the one that lived here until one day everyone in this land disappeared. In order to fill the void someone else had to be in thier place or Candyland would crumble to the ground."
"I understand but how to I reverse the effect?"
"Find the people who used to live here, that will free your friends." The tree's face dissappeared when it stopped talking.
"Wait! My friends are here too?" Kurama asked but got no response from the now sleeping tree.
Greeaat, he thought. Kurama gathered a few plums for the journey though he really had no idea where to go. He headed north from the tree and found a strange colored road.
"Bizzar...I suppose this is much like the yellow brick road from the book 'The Wizard of Oz'." Kurama said as he fallowed the path.
"Hello Plumpy."
A voice said from the left of the road. Kurama turned to see a very funny looking Hiei. He was dressed in a black and red outfit with pointed shoes and a licorice cape. His hair was still its spikey self but he had grown a bit taller.
"Uh Hiei, I'm Kurama." Kurama said calmly.
"Hiei? I really have no idea who'm you are addressing but I am Lord Licorice, ruler of my own licorice land. Come stay for a bit."
Kurama looked at the seemly gone insane Hiei then remembered what the Plum Tree had said.
"Uh, I really should be going." Kurama said as he started off fallowing the path once again.
Finding Hiei only made Kurama want to hurry and find the missing Characters sooner. He then came to a Candycane area with tall Candycanes growing from the ground. He glanced around for any signs of a friend and found none other then Koenma(a/n:teenage form). He was wearing an outfit with the candycane print and the JR still was on his forehead. Atleast he hasn't completely changed as Hiei hadn't either.
"Yo Plumpy why are you away from your tree?"
"I er wanted to see the sights." Kurama said taken by suprise.
"Strange, I thought you would be eating Plums all day as usual. Guess its just an odd day."
"Why would you say that?"
"Well I saw two kids run by today, they seemed lost and when I offered to help they just ran faster."
It seemed odd that children would be running around this land but then again it was odd what was happening to his friends.
"You haven't seen anything else out of the ordinary?"
"Well Gramma Nutt has been acting a bit less peachy then she usually is and the King hasn't been seen for days..But why would you.."
Kurama already had started down the path. He wondered who'm Gramma Nutt was and wether the King had anything to do with the disappearences.
