a choice of love or death, it seems
will undo us in the end.
to the west or Middle-earth,
The choice we cannot comprehend.
in Rivendell she waits for him,
to Gondor the new king will ride.
will the mortal and elf be reunited again,
if caught up in the future's tide?
the evenstar will see him then,
and will become his wife.
their hands will join in endless bond,
choosing love and mortal life.
