Shawn just stared at the bloody smiley on the wall of the Psych office, underneath the mark lay the dead body of Gus. He didn't understand, Shawn knew that he was always getting into trouble, but this time, he did nothing. He didn't provoke Red John, hell he didn't want anything to do with Red John, he had enough with Yin and Yang, and those two were more than enough for his share of serial killers. And yet, Red John had killed Gus. Shawn wasn't stupid, he knew what happen between Patrick Jane and Red John, but Shawn was not Patrick, he did not do the same mistake that the older man had done, he hadn't said anything about Red John, and yet Gus was dead.
He had looked all around the crime scene, he wanted to have the scene forever in his mind. In the distance he could hear the sirens of the police. He looked around one more time before setting his eyes back to Gus and back to the mocking bloody smiley drawn his Gus's blood. Red John was going to paid. Shawn wanted revenge, he wanted retribution. He was going to kill Red John, because that son of a bitch had killed his best friend without a reason. That mother fucker had just challenge Shawn Spencer to a game of life and death, but it was not going to be Shawn Spencer the one that will respond to the challenge, because part of him had died with Gus, and a new and dark part of him had just awoken with the thirst of blood and revenge. Shawn was no more, now he was Yin…
This is a challenge.
The rules:
Gus is killed by Red John (Why is up to you)
Shawn had nothing to do with it
Shawn was kick out of the case because it was personal and the emotional attachment, after a while the case is closed with no improvements in the investigation
Shawn is angry at the lack of results
Shawn runs away (after Gus funeral)
Gus's death made Shawn snap
Shawn becomes Yin
Shawn convinces Patrick to become Yang
They both kill bad people. Mainly Shawn
Patrick is Shawn's save line (keeps him sane or as sane as possible)
The both kill Red John
They are never caught
Pairing: Patrick Jane/ Shawn Spencer
Optional:
Red John also kills Henry and/or Maddie (Shawn's mom)
Setting:
The setting is up to you but it has to be after the episode of Yang 3 in 2D, there is an eight years difference between Patrick and Shawn, Shawn is the younger one and the submissive in the relationship.
How they meet is up to you as well as when.
