All of them along with the renangade Zerg. Now I wonder if we were mistaken even in that. The humans have a saying. A house devided can not stand. I learned that well when Aldarus in his obession in elemanating Tassadar left Auir (and taking my forces with him) even more vunrable to the Zerg invasion. Even after only my itital battles with the Zerg I knew they were a threat to be taken quite serious. Much more seriously than a collection of desadent renagades known as the Dark Templar who had never even been within the Auir system since before recent history. Maybe we should of tried to commucate with Dragoth's (was that not the Cerebrates' name?) Zerg, wasn't Karragen his enemy as well? Didn't they want her dead as much as we did? Now I wonder who was really the worse of two evils, Karrigen, Zerg Queen of Blades, or the Overmind. We knew how to fight the Overmind, we had a basic understanding of what it wanted. But Karrigen, she played us all for fools. She trick me into clearning a path to Aldarus for her. I should of known who he spoke of. "She has been maniplulated by da-" No, not 'da' I mis heard now I realize, 'the!' 'the Zerg,'. We retreated here to his life less world of our creation after our defeat on Char. I think many of us hoped it would be a replay of the battle against the Overmind. We were devided, so we were defeated. I think Artanis now realizes just how much the Terran's aided us in our assult against the beast. If that boy wasn't so egar to prove himself a warrior- pointing fingers won't do any good. She's tried several times to assult Sakur. The feild created by the Xel' Naga temple keeps her forces from entering. But if we leave this planet she will attacks us in full strength. We are prisoners of our own saftly.
I rescued Artanis from his won pride back on Char. Artanis insisted he lead the attack, not me. I honesty thought it was close to over when the Overmind died. When Tasadar sacrificed himself. Little did I know it was only the begining of the dance of death. Fnoix. Aldaris. I did not wish such a fate even on the Terran 'Duke'. Rainor is a man of his word. He's vowed to kill Karrigen. He told me once they had been . . . . intrested in each other before she was captured by the Swarm. If any of us has a real duty to slay her, he does. But I wonder, if we kill Kerrigen. What evil will rise to fill in the power gap as she did with the Overmind? What darkness is waiting to take her place? Heh. Rainor says we Protoss are always a little melodramatic. Perhapes I am. Rainor, Zeratul, where are they? Rainor. No one's seen him since the slaughter on Corhal. Zeratul. He contacted me only breifly. He said he had found something . . . distrubing. He said he needed time to think before he said anything more. Time. It seens to be something we don't have. Or perhapes. Have too much of. By the Xel' Naga. I wish I knew what to do! We are in a trap we overself have made, derected by Kerrigen. This must end Queen of Blades. But if we did kill her. Would we just be repeating the cycle we did with the Overmind? Would Samir Duran rise to take his Queen's place? It would not surprise me. This stalemate can not last forever. And Karrigen takes more terratory every day. Something must happen. Something must give.
