BETTER OFF

Kazuya woke up in the middle of the night, smiling sinisterly as he looked at Jun who was sleeping peacefully beside him; he got out of bed carefully, making sure not to wake her up.
"I've packed my bags, I'm moving on.
'Cause I've been waiting far too long."
He slipped on his ratty jeans and back t-shirt that was left sprawled on the bedroom floor and took the small suitcase that was hidden underneath his bedside and looked up at Jun. He always thought she was more beautiful when she slept and for a moment he wanted to stay, to kiss her one more time but a voice told him to carry on. Soon his smile returned.
"'Cause living with you are like a hole in the head.
I know I'll soon be better off.

He went downstairs quietly to get some toast. I don't want to go on an empty stomach, and only just stifled laughter. He turned on the toaster and put in 2 pieces of bread in. As it cooked he grabbed a pen and a notepad and wrote:
Jun,
This isn't working out. So see ya!!
Kaz.
p.s: You were a good sport.
This time he couldn't stop his laughter this time and burst into load hysterics.
"I don't care about anyone.
You know that I'm better off.

Suddenly Jun's voice called out from upstairs.-Kaz? Is that you? Kaz smiled:Oh well, the gig is up!
-Yeah, it's me!
Jun came down. She was wearing an old t-shirt and knickers(Pants if your not british.)It was
obvious she was still half-asleep.-What you doing honey? She asked with yawn.
-Oh not much, I'm just leaving you.
-WHAT!!!(Jun didn't look half-asleep then)WHY?(tears began to fall down her eyes.)
-It's just not working out. He said with a shrug.
-B...But I don't understand, I love you Kaz.Jun broke up at that moment and cried .Kazuya felt a
pang of sadness and guilt, he loved her too but then a voice rose up inside him. A deadly voice.
A seductive voice. The devils voice. He smiled again and took his toast from the toaster.
-I'll be better off. He said simply and took a bite out of a pieces of toast.
"I've explained. Get off my back.
Far too long have I lost track.

I know I'll soon be better off.

-YOU WILL BE BETTER OFF? YOU? WHAT ABOUT ME? I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!PLEASE
DON'T GO!! She cried and hugged him tightly, crying so hard that Kazuyas t-shirt became very
damp. Kazuya looked down at her and then took another bite out of his toast.
"I don't care about anyone.
You know that I'll be better off.

Jun looked up at him with red eyes and realized something horrible.His eyes. She thought,thats not
my Kazuya thats something else.She let go of him as if he was hot and whispered.-Your not my
Kaz. As he finished the last piece of toast, he smiled evily at her.-Took you long enougth and
cackled.Jun whimpered as he took his suitcase and walked towards the door. But before he left
winked at her and said.-Bye honey,and with that he left.

AN:The songs called "Better off" and it's by Theory of a deadman. It's a great song but it's hard to
find.
