Harry Potter was sitting in Professor Dumbledore's office. When Fawkes flew in and landed on his lap.

"Hello Fawkes," Harry mumbled.

Tears fell slowly from Harry's face. He started to cry.

"Why does Sirius have to die?" he asked himself.

He was still crying when Dumbledore arrived.

"Harry," Dumbledore called out gently.

He touched Harry's shoulder; suddenly Harry flinched.

"I know how you feel," Dumbledore said.

Harry stood up and replied angrily, "YOU DON'T KNOW HOW I FEEL!! YOU NEVER LOST ANYONE THAT YOU CARED ABOUT! YOU NEVER LOST SOMEONE THAT WILL GIVE YOU A BRAND NEW HOME!! How could this happen to me??"

A moment of silence cut between the two. Realizing that he was yelling, Harry slumped back down and put covered his face.

Actually, Harry, I do... Dumbledore thought.

"Harry did you ever know that I had a wife and a daughter??" Dumbledore asked.

"What?"
"They died many years ago...when my daughter was only 1 year old."

"Who killed them?"

"A Death Eater."

"What's the name of the Death Eater?" Harry asked curiously.

"Now, now Mr.Potter…you need your sleep..good night.."

"But wait...!!"

Only Dumbledore had already pushed Harry through the door and closed it.

Harry stood facing the door astounded. What exactly was Dumbledore hiding from him? If only Dumbledore told him, whatever bad happened could be fixed. He could fix it. But why?
