Kousuke stared deep into the rambling shoujo's eyes as she continued explaining why he wouldn't kill her. He chuckled and continued to listen to her rather smart remarks. She was an odd one, that was true, yet something about her he couldn't help but like. Maybe it was the fact that was strong spirited and intelligent in some areas or the fact that she could always bring a spirit up when that person is down, or probably because she was too cute to pass.
"Kousuke-kun?" Hiyono asked, turning her head as she saw Kousuke with a far off look. She blinked, "Kousuke-kun? are you listening to me" she asked, pouting a bit her brown eyes normally wide and cheerfully now narrowing and angry. She sighed again hearing no response from the red-haired boy, she walked up and shook him lightly. "Kousuke-kun!!" she said loudly as he jumped a bit and looked up a bit dazed.
"H-hai?" he asked straightening his shirt as Hiyono smiled triumphtily, he raised a brow and watched her as she sat down and poked a hole in her drink sipping it a it.
"Didn't you hear me?" she asked looking up as he blinked and turned a bit red from embarrasement.
"Iie..." he said quietly as she frowned.
"HIYONO'S PUNCH!!" she said taking out her bear and rabbit puppets wacking him with it. His eyes widened as he caught her arm making her eyes widen in return.
"what the hell?" he said sweatdropping as he took the gloves off examining them looking at her bare arm, she glared.
"Hey!! don't touch the puppets!!" she said trying to pull her arm back. He laughed and played with the puppets showing them in front of her face.
"Hello Ms.Hiyono, the Blade Children are gonna kill you!" he replied laughing making the rabbit and bear move, Hiyono couldn't help but giggle as he continued to play with her puppets. He smirked and looked at her hand he had been holding for awhile, timidly he took his free hand and placed it gently against hers letting it go. She stopped laughing and turned her face to him as she blushed a bit. He continued to have his hand against hers and slowly put his grip around her wrist.
"Ano..." she whispered turning red and putting her hand away as she sat down. "Kousuke-kun..." she whispered silently breaking him out of his trance.
"Hai?"
"What...is a blade children?" she said quietly as he stood up and leaned closer to her.
"I wouldn't say that if I wanted to live" he whispered smirking as her eyes widened, right then and there he kissed her and walked out.
"Kousuke-kun..."
