The middle of winter was a strange time to go camping. Even stranger is that a human was camping in mossflower. Of course, the rat watching the human didn't know what he was so he took him for a beast easy to take advantage of. Nearing the human the rat drew his cutlass and raised it. By this time the human was aware he was there. As the rat brought the cutlass down the human span around and blocked it neatly with a thick staff. Both froze on the spot. The human because he just blocked an attack from a giant rat and the rat because he hadn't expected the block.

The human recovered first slamming his fist into the rat knocking it senseless. Taking the rat's cutlass he scrammbled away. "Was that a rat I just punched?" he asked to himself.

After running for some time the human regained his composure. He slowed to a walk. "Dammit, why didn't I take my stuff. Now I'm hungry and lost!"

"Hungry? If your hungry you can eat with us." Turning and desperately hoping it to be another human, he answered "Thanks." He saw three squirrels in view, the one in the middle wielding a beautiful sword.

Unable to keep the thought in his head, he shouted "First a giant rat and then three squirrels! What next a giant badger?"

"Whats wrong with giant badgers?" Turning very slowly he looked up. What greeted him was indeed a giant badger. This was too much. The human sank to his knees. The badger propped him back up and asked a single question. "What is your name?" "Andre." the human answered before fainting.

Meanwhile the rat was waking up. Groaning, he sat up and said to himself "What the heck was that who punched me? Ah well, no need to tell this to the lord. If we meet 'im again we'll take care of i'm." The rat was going to regret saying these words because the human was going to create a serious problem for them in the future.
