So who is left to court
Our deer special Hermione?
What about Ronald?
He fancies her like mad.
He is a tad immature though,
And his temper is quite bad.
She might date him for a while,
But he is not that bright.
She needs someone to challenge her,
Make her put up a fight.
'Cause she's a feisty one our Hermione,
and needs intellectual stimulation.
Along with adult company,
and a decent conversation.
So who's left for our girl?
Draco Malfoy Perhaps,
But could he quit the insults
Without a single relapse?
True he is quite clever,
Enough to match her there.
And he is good looking,
What with that blonde hair.
But he's just so nasty,
Could he overcome her blood?
Is it very likely?
I don't think he would.
And for his Daddy
Lucius is twice as cruel
Hermione would have to turn bad
And she's not at all a fool.
So what about dear Sirius?
The good looking guy,
but a bit of a player.
He'd leave her high and dry.
Let's consider tame Lupin.
He's so sweet and polite.
But what if they got caught
outside in the moonlight?
So who is left but Severus?
I think this match is fab.
He would respect her so much
The greatest student he ever had.
He could match her smartness,
and provide her with heated debates.
They could have intellectual chats,
It's only her friends he really hates.
And he's so much older
Would that matter much?
I don't think whilst she is a student.
he would dare to touch.
But our Hermione's quite mature.
Let's give her that,
I think if anyone could,
she could tame the bat.
So he is quite mean,
It's all part of his cover.
To me this match is perfect.
There couldn't be another.
I think she needs clever Severus,
to challenge her mind.
She could see past the spy,
leave his past behind.
I'm sure she does respect him.
and he her, deep down within.
I think he secretly wishes,
she was a Slytherin.
