Owen smiled, patted Ianto on the back and left him alone with his love. Ianto sat beside Jack, taking out the gun he still had in his inside pocket. "We're alone now, Cariad. I'll be with you in a few minutes." Leaning forward, Ianto kissed Jack. A kiss that lasted like forever, leaving Ianto breathless. "There, that was nice, wasn't it? Ianto leaned back, getting the gun ready. "I had so many things I wanted to say to you. So many things I wanted to experience with you. But, that's all gone now." He sighed. "I love you, Jack. From that very first meeting in the park," Ianto chuckled. "When I said I loved the coat, I meant I loved you. Silly, I know, but it was love at first sight for me." Ianto leaned forward again, resting the gun in his lap. "I loved Lisa, I really did, but less and less each day. I loved you more. And when she died," He sighed again. "I was relieved, really. I would be free to love you. I didn't know then, that you felt the same way about me." Ianto laughed, tears welling up in his blue eyes. "I wanted to spend my life loving you. I guess, in a way, I have. Just not as long as I wanted." Ianto lifted the gun up and looked at it. "I know, if you were here right now, you'd say I was takin' the cowards way out. Maybe I am, but, I can't live without you, Cariad. I wouldn't make it alone. I can't love anyone else." He put the gun against his right temple. "I'll be with you in that great Universe in the sky, and we can be together forever." Ianto pulled the trigger.
His lifeless body fell across his lovers chest. His lifeblood touching Jack's dead lips.
Seconds later, Jack took a deep breath, opened his eyes and screamed.
"Iannnntoooo!"
