hey y'all. this is gonna be my last hp update for this summer. i've had an absolute blast, it's been amazing to read your supportive reviews. to all my regular reviewers *cough jessica cough jessica*, you're epic.
i don't know when i'll update during the school year. i'm in the middle of creating two collabs in the kingdom keepers section, and i am not sure what the schedule is gonna be for that. (and honestly, even as it's being published, i don't think I'll know then). But whenever i get a free friday, i will do my best to update here. requests are most definitely accepted.
inspired by that precious little scene when hermione and ron hold hands at the end of HPDHP2 ;) this is a sister fic to my first freeverse of the summer, "silence".
much thanks to you all, again, you're all beautiful. :)
noise
. . .
and now, there's answers
it's all clear and in crystal
that they are a confirmed togetherness,
a real relationship,
an established bond.
it's loud and clear
and no one needs to think about singular persons
anymore.
it's one.
they were supposed to be the star-crossed lovers
the twinkles above said so
but that title's been beaten
by every kiss and every embrace
every loving gaze that is repeated plenty times in every conversation.
they will always be hermioneron,
and that's destiny.
there's an uneasy peace surrounding them
the aftermath of the clash.
lives lost, lives ruined,
families torn apart.
a castle, their home, their home
lies in rubble
the price of freedom
from an evil reign.
and yet…
beyond this disaster, this calamity
something lies underneath their feet
that sit, side by side, close together,
his jeans brushing up against her knee.
it's the new life that they've been gifted
the blessing to live
to finally break free from the rules
to, at last, love each other.
her shoulder is leaning against his
his hand is clasped onto hers
and everything seems perfect.
some would say that love is tedious and wearying
but one look at these two
and you see the real meaning.
it's pure, it's strong,
real and truthful
it's powerful like you wouldn't believe,
it's what held them together,
even if they didn't know it.
she whispers to him, leaning ever closer so,
and asks if this is all a dream.
and he responds,
it very well could be,
but it's a bloody noisy one,
and that's more likely to make it real.
then they accept
that life is like this now.
they wouldn't rather have it any other way.
