It was around two and a half years since Naruto had left for training with Jiraiya and everyone was hard at work. Many ninjas such as Chouji and Shino had ranked up to Chounin, Neji had become a Jounin, and Gaara was now the Kazekage. Indeed everyone was working very hard to protect Konoha from the threats of Orichimaru and Akatsuki. Of course, with hard work, there was always time for the fun stuff, like mischief, hanging out, and enjoying life.

As the sun was setting, Team Guy was just about to finish another exhausting day of training. Of course, Lee and Guy were still sparring each other as if they had just started. Neji was already packing his equipment and TenTen was collecting her weapons across the field. However, as she picked up her stray kunai, she could not help but steal quick glances at the spar. Well, not as much to the spar as to Lee.

It was because earlier that day, Lee was dodging a barrage of TenTen's weapons and somehow lost the top half of his bodysuit in the process. With ninjas like Shino or Shikamaru who are able to depend on other means of fighting besides taijutsu, they did not have to train their bodies as hard as the Green Beast. Because all Lee did was run, lift weights, kick everything, jump a lot, walk on his hands everywhere,etc, he was very VERY fit. There were clear indications where one muscle would start and another one began. Even after being team mates with him for so long, TenTen was still amazed about the surplus of rock hard muscle Lee had.

"Good job today my youthful students! What another great day of dynamic training it has been!" Gai had exclaimed as he and Lee had ceased their spar.

"I agree with you Gai-sensei! I can say with my good guy pose that we are all stronger than we were yesterday" Lee had replied, putting his thumbs up and smiling with his pearly white teeth.

"MY YOUTHFUL DISCIPLE!" Guy had yelled as he ran to hug Lee.

"GUY-SENSEI!" Lee had yelled as he had hugged his teacher.

While Lee and Guy had been crying and hugging each other, Neji and TenTen had just sighed at their teammates enthusiasm. Neji had said his goodbyes and left towards home while Guy ran into Kakashi and challenged him to a competition. Of course, he had lost and was starting his five hundred laps of lunges around the city.

"Lee, what are you doing tomorrow?" TenTen asked as both of her other teammates were nowhere in sight.

"Why my youthful teammate, tomorrow I start my beautiful day with one hundred glorious laps around the city on each leg followed by one thousand exhilarating pushups on each arm followed by three thousand dynamic kicks and punches on the practice dummies followed by.."

"Is there a day that you don't train?" TenTen asked, knowing the obvious answer.

"Of course not! With Neji and Naruto becoming stronger every day, I must push myself to the limit in order to become the best!"

She sighed, what a typical response from her ever so optimistic team mate. Again her eyes started to wander, staring at the sweat fall down Lee's developed abs and arms. It was like watching water fall down from a chiseled boulder. Immediately when she noticed Lee looking at her, she felt a little heat rushing towards her face.

"I was wondering if you weren't busy tomorrow, we could go weapon shopping together."

"I would love to accompany you in restocking your weapons my lovely teammate! In order to be a good ninja, we must be well equipped." Lee had smiled brightly as he put on his pack. "It's a date!"

Date? She had began to blush again, Lee had never used the word date unless it came with the name Sakura after it. Tomorrow was going to be a very interesting day.
