A/N: I am pretty happy right now; this is actually my first story that isn't yaoi!! (Sakura DROPS doesn't count because SasuSaku wasn't actually a pairing.). I chose Sakon x Tayuya because...well, I don't really know why. Sakon and Tayuya are my favorite Sound ninja.

The Attack That Can't Be Countered

"Go Tayuya!" Kidomaru cheered his female teammate on as she jumped back, trying to regain her breath. Sakon's a better fighter than I had anticipated...Tayuya thought, staring at the tall silver-haired man that stood a couple of yards in front of her.

"Tayuya! Don't stop, even for a second!" Sakon shouted, lauching himself toward Tayuya. Throwing a punch at her, she easily blocked it with her flute. "Heh..." she muttered. "Not that skilled without your brother, eh?" She noted, remembering that Ukon was sitting on the sidelines with Kidomaru and Jirobo instead of being fused with Sakon.

"Don't underestimate me," Sakon muttered. As he prepared to punch Tayuya again, the redhead launched a fearsome kick to his gut, knocking Sakon a few feet back. He clutched his stomach and sank to the ground for a second, coughing up a bit of blood. When he looked up, Tayuya wasn't in front of him--she was sitting atop a tree, playing a sickeningly sweet melody on her flute. Sakon tried to cover his ears and block out the melody, but it was futile. Within splits of seconds, he found himself chained in a place where the sky was red and sickening greenish bones hid under tan sands. It was a horrible nightmare like no other, especially when the flesh began to melt off of his bones. Sakon screamed in anguish, earning light chuckles from Tayuya

Enough torture for poor Sakon, she thought with a smirk, immediately disabling her genjutsu. I don't want to expend my chakra, and besides; I went easy on him. My other opponents would have lost their sanity and their minds if they were in my illusion for this long.

"Why...why did you disable it?" Sakon asked, bewildered.

"Um...running low on chakra," Tayuya lied. She didn't want Sakon to realize that she had been going easy on him.

"You sure?" he asked. "Your chakra signature's still pretty strong. Either way, it's time for me to unleash the only attack that will probably work against you!"

Tayuya smirked and jumped from the tree branch, sinking into the familiarity of her signature fighting stance. "Bring it."

Sakon charged at her, pinning her by the shoulders to a tree, his lips connecting with hers. Tayuya's eyes widened in shock and disgust. When Sakon pulled away, he expected to find a light pink blush on Tayuya's cheeks, looking like she enjoyed it, looking like she wanted more. But the only thing he found was her anger. He screamed as Tayuya chased him around, threatening to saw him in half with the sound waves from her flute.

"Not that smart, is he?" Jirobo muttered to Kidomaru and Ukon.

"He's not smart at all," Ukon replied. "I'm his brother, hell, 'm freaking attached to him! I think that I'm correct when I say that he's a complete idiot.

"Should we try to save Sakon?" Kidomaru inquired.

"Nah," Ukon said with a wave of his hand. "Let's just go get lunch."

The three boys nodded their heads and walked back towards headquarters.
