Matt stared at the top of the brightly coloured cards on the table. He bit his lip as his hand hovered over the one on the top of the pyramid. When suddenly Mello's voice rang though the apartment, "Come on Matt!" Matt sighed,

"One Second!" Matt called back. He heard Mello sigh but he went back to his cards again. He turned over the top and rolled his eyes. The naked man and woman in an eternal embrace stared up at him, the vine of a grape plant covered their bodies. 'The Lovers' –What's in hand. He then looked to the one closest to him on the left. He flipped it over and sighed heavily. The dragonfly with a key lay face up. 'Judgement'- Past influences. Matt's eyes flickered to the centre card, he placed his hand on it and closed his eyes, he flicked it over and opened his eyes, they widened. 'Death'- Ponder this. He heard a bang as the bedroom door opened.

"Are you coming?" Mello asked standing in the doorway,

"I won't be" Matt answered as Mello left the room closing the door gently as he did. Matt sighed and took his hand off the card, "Whatever's next can't be worse" he whispered quickly flipping the next. I bright red being, with horns, wearing and waist coat and gloves filled the card. 'The Devil' What is to come. "Hell2 he whispered to himself. Matt sighed and gathered up the four cards, he then picked up the rest of the deck and added the four to the bottom. As Matt went back to the laptop to finish wiping its' memory and to shut it down he looked to his right again, a card had fallen from the bottom of the deck when he had picked it up, he slowly reached for it and took it into his hand. He flipped it over and the woman in a green dress and scales for arms frowned at him. 'Justice'. Matt stared scornfully at the card and wiped then off the table, scattering them on the floor, he stood with such force it knocked the chair over. He grabbed his jacket and car keys and left the bedroom…
