Lara just got back to a normal life, somewhat. It been a month sense she left the island. She woke up to the sound of thunder, the rain was pouring she got a shiver up her spine. Even the sound of rain and thunder brought back memories of horror and fear, it came flooding back the plane that fell from the sky how the storm appeared out of nowhere the running through the jungle, the wolves howling echoed in her mind. She closed her eyes and shook it off, she put on her housecoat and walked out of her room. The bruises on her ribs have faded, and the scars started to heal. She was not the Lara from before. She went to the kitchen for some coffee. Thunder crashed, but this time she didn't flinch. Lara stared at her black coffee and thought of her father. For the past two weeks she had been having dreams about her dad. They were blurry each time. The first one he was warning her to stay away, then he told her she must find it to protect it. This last dream he had a book in his hand all she could see was the cover. She knew these dreams meant something, or has her mind been playing with her.

She drank her coffee, and thought maybe if I go in his library I could find that book. She shook her head, but that's nonsense, she stopped and remembered the storm. She realized nothing really is nonsense, it is all in what you believe in and have seen. She walked to the library and remembered how It look in the dream. The worn leather binding, the thick pages with notes sticking out, and an Aztec symbol on the side. She walked around seeing many books from maps, history, archaeology, and none with leather binding. She only saw one book on Mayan and Aztec history and lore. It was thick and dusty as she removed it and carried it to the desk. She opened it up to the condense table. She read "Mayan history, Aztec history, Aztec lore, Mayan lore, the conquering of the conquistador's,… legends of the civilizations Might as well start there. She flipped to the section it was in the middle of the book. The fist page she read aloud "El Dorado?"No way she flipped through the section, then she found a hole there It was the leather journal Mayan calendar on the front Aztec symbols around it. She picked it up and opened it the pages of that section were torn out, but there she looked at the binding. It was the same as in her dream. Her fathers words echoed, in her mind…

'Do not take it, protect it, you will be tempted. Find its keeper and you will keep the cursed history scared forever.'

"What did he mean by its keeper so many things unanswered." The thunder boomed outside. She proclaimed to herself. " I have to go, why else would my father warn me."

She carried the book into the kitchen and picked up her phone as she dialed she whispered, "I'm never traveling by ship again, if she says I have to ill walk there." The ringing echoed in the empty house

"Hey Lara what's up?"

"Hi Samatha I have a question, do you know anyone with a plane?"

"Yeah, sure, a plane to where though?"

Lara opened the book and read her father's notes

Flase location, El Dorado not located in South America or Mexico, belong it was Coordinates circled. Lara's mind raced with questions, these coordinates are from somewhere in the pacific ocean… why would it be there?

Sam asked " Lara are you there?"

" Yes, sorry Sam, get out a pen in paper ill recite you the coordinates, and tell them ill need to leave immediately."
