Walking over and looking at his brother Chris asked
"So brother I hate to ask the obvious but what the fuck are we doing here anymore?" taking a nervous glance around the café he and his brother were having a nice meal at and using the wifi to surf the internet out of sheer boredom as his two big sisters Taylor and Katlyn sat down to join them. Sitting around talking about old times with Chris' military mind working overtime his eyes kept finding themselves drawn to two girls sitting in a corner booth huddled around a 20 inch Toshiba laptop. As they kept locking eyes Richard punched his brother on the shoulder and said jokingly as he had consumed a few drinks
"Dude it's obvious you three have a lot in common including the freaky ass thousand yard stare. Go talk to them that is if you remember who you are". Walking over he saw both of their brows furrow in anger and annoyance and he saw what the cause was in the mirror-the blue screen of death. Reaching over he said a little nervously getting him chuckling saying to himself
"Boy you have jumped out of airplanes and assassinated the high ranking AQ operatives so this shouldn't be hard" and seeing the two girls, who if he had to hazard a guess were sisters, one with her brown hair wild and unkempt and her green eyes moving like a tweaker's, and her sisters flaming sunset red hair and steel grey eyes showed determination to fix it he asked
"Hey either of you girls need help with anything?" and he was shown the screen. Cracking his fingers Chris quickly rebooted the computer and slipped a drive and downloaded its contents upgrading the security to military grade encryption and he said quietly to the two awestruck girls
"That should buy you a few years of unrivaled browsing" and the redhead yelled out
"Hey what's your name so I can thank you properly" and the steely brown eyes showed no trace of the turmoil he felt
"Names Chris and I didn't catch yours" and she replied "Alexia and my sister-" gesturing over to the girl with unkempt hair, "is Senka. Her appearance owes to the fact she would rather work on her computer as well as mine than dress up" and Chris jokingly said
"Serbian name and that makes wonder if she knows who she is or does she have to risk her life hacking a database to find out?" and she just chuckled shaking her head no. After finishing the drinks the four siblings quickly paid the tab and walked out saying good bye to new friends before feeling a hand grabbing his shoulder. Swinging around Chris saw a man looking at him but before he could get a word out the stranger said
"I have seen your military record and the wounds you have so let's cut the shit and you can come with me" and the car near him exploded knocking Chris out as well as shoving the others out of the way.
As the sun slowly rose over the social welfare agency three new cyborgs were getting a new lease on what would turn out to be a very shocking and violent life. As Chris rolled over and quickly grabbed the top rail landing on his legs dropping him in pain screaming, his grey eyes screwing shut and his reddish brown hair covered in sweat Kat rolled over from the bottom bunk and said
"Well little brother that is funny you tried to earn your gymnastics gold medal" and then Richard rolled over and fell off the top bunk forgetting he let his sister Taylor take bottom as her legs were a little shaky from the ambush that nearly killed them both. Richard was a reddish blond boy of six foot and was muscled even though you couldn't tell as he and his sister had hardly a drop of fat on them. Their big sister kat more properly known as Katlyn heard the thud and ran in to check on her charges as Taylors brown eyes sprung to life seeing her brothers almost black eyes squeeze shut.
"Damn that hurt more than that fucking car bomb" he moaned. The ambush had been set up by their uncle who was trying to form a domestic American terror gang sending two into hiding and one to the military and then NCIS OSP where under his own father's orders he was tortured and left for dead.
"Well no shit you dense dipshit" Taylor and Kat said at once while Taylor grabbed her m4 that she called el diablo as it shot a .50 cal round and her brothers special ops custom 417 that had fore grip and hybrid optic with a launcher and suppressor capable and the custom .45s they both loved. As the newest they had pleaded for only memories to be wiped as they had all three worked with soccom as the youngest candidates allowed. As Richard locked eyes with rico he blushed a little as he realized he didn't have a shirt on and slid out to the gun range as his sister teased
"You have a crush it's so cute" as Tay as she loved to be called was the middle child and Richard always said she was an ass.
Seeing a potential fight about to break among the two Chris yelled, despite being the youngest always was involved with his ACR 7.62 and the same attachments as his brother as well as the .45 made him a dangerous man,
"Gear up you morons and we have to do this right so no screw ups" followed by "3,2,1 breach" drawing the three of them in with a grin as that was what they were trained to do and had stated after their meeting with jean and the director. Although they completed the course in record time save for a snag of the Saiga he used as well he kept thinking of rico and Triela wondering if he stood a chance of getting to know then better and what made them the way they were. But not realizing after he cleared his weapons that he was looking at the two of them and Henrietta who he had met a day before.
Taylor saw this and snickered and whispered that they should ask to hang out with them sometime being strangers. As they settled in for a visit with the 3 oldest as in been there the longest Triela explained he kept staring at her and rico and zoning much to rico's fear and Triela's embarrassment. Flustered he pulled down on his shirt selves no before rico saw the AFO delta tattoos on his arms and thousand yard stare at Triela as Chris did the same with Etta and Petra and then the call of
"We need you all to meet us in the director's office" and Triela acted like Chris' guide and big sister almost like a mother, much to his annoyance and they were told they have just been given a mission to eliminate a padania/red flood brigade (RFB) that his uncle and dad had founded using members of the red army faction and Japanese red army.
"Shit" the four mumbled after thinking it was just a good will exchange after being reinstated into delta as the leaders of AFO Raider but finding out that they had become NATO and were shocked who their first target was out of the gate. "Oh well at least I get to see rico and Triela in action" Richard thought to himself as the meeting broke up completely oblivious to who his brother was talking to and who he was thinking of.
