Her bedroom is filled with sounds of irregular heartbeats and breaths trying to regulate.
Hair tousled and perspiration gliding over skin.
Disheveled sheets, pillows strewn across the floor.
Their naked forms lying across the queen size bed.
Legs intertwined.
Fingers drawing ghostly pattern on skin.
Feather light kisses on his chest.
Gentle squeeze of her race.
Minds calming after their most elevated trip through euphoria EVER!
"I have a question," Sharon hums.
"Yes, beautiful? Andy replies, with a hint of intrigue in his voice.
"What does the word 'love' say to you?" she asks while drawing circles on his chest with a glimmer of hesitance in her voice.
"Hmm, that's a good question." Andy says drawing a pattern on along her hip bone.
"Yes, it is," she says while a smirk plays upon her lips, a little sarcasm clearly evident in her voice.
"Well… it says that someone gives their all, they forego their own selfish needs to ensure that the one that they love are happy. It says a person understands how much their presence means to the one they love. It also says that the lover and the loved understand the necessity for truth, no matter how bad it hurts either party. It says that two souls are now combined as one, and it each other's job to ensure that the souls receive all the necessary enrichment that it needs to thrive. It says one accepts the others imperfections that make them perfect. It says I've seen the ugly parts of you, and I'm staying no matter. It says never worry about receiving, instead make sure you give all you have. It says that one's happiness is contingent upon the other's happiness," he says looking at her, who is now looking at him with tears in her sparkling jade eyes.
Tracing his jaw, as she sits up to look him directly in his mahogany glazed eyes, "Anything else?" she inquires with admiration in her voice, shocked by his unexpected elaborate definition of love.
"Actually, beautiful there is," he retorts while tracing the outer shell of her ear with his forefinger.
"Hmm, what is it," she hums in response while trying to stifle a giggle.
"It says that I have all I will ever need in you, beautiful," he whispers into her ear.
She pulls back to look into his eyes, and smiles at him, before kissing him tenderly. Their lips colliding filled with passion for each other's presence.
He breaks the kiss and says, "I assume my answer was to satisfying to the Captain."
"Yes, yes it was Lieutenant," she says winking at him, climbing atop of him.
