This is my very first fanfiction. Ever. I'm not an amazing author, but this old file has been sitting around for far to long. Here you have it!
If you have the time to review, (or even favourite!) that would be nice. Criticism is appreciated.
"Mamma? Do you need any help?"
Light internally cringed at the name his children had given him, L said that it was just a phase, the kids would grow out of it and realise that he was Dad, not Mom. It turned out that, no, it in fact was not a phase, they had actually thought that Light was their mother.
"Mom?"
The auburn haired man turned around from his spot in front of the sink. Standing in the open doorway to the kitchen was his second oldest, Matt. Matt was a sweet-heart, he was always trying to help others and he had a pure heart, there was this one time L thought that it was made of gold (It wasn't). The only problem was that Matt was a child, a very young one, and he couldn't do everything he claimed he could.
"Not right now Matt, alright?"
The brown haired boy stuck his bottom lip out and crossed his arms over his chest.
"No. You've been working all day! You need a break."
Light sighed and placed the cloth he was using to dry the dishes beside the sink. He wiped his hands off against the soft blue apron that L and the kids bought for him on Mother's Day (it had not been a pleasant one) and tucked some loose strands of his hair behind his ear.
"Maybe..." Light began as he walked towards Matt. The boy was curious as to what his mother had to say.
The, rather feminine, man kneeled so that he was at eye level with his child.
"You can go upstairs, wake up your father, and tell him to bring his lazy butt downstairs because mummy needs to talk to him."
"How should I wake Dad up?"
"Anyway you would like sweet heart."
The boy brought one of his small hands up to his mouth to hide the sounds of his giggles.
"Consider it done." He saluted and ran out of the room, it was obvious that he wasn't going to go easy on L.
Light smiled to himself when he heard screams coming from the top floor. Yes, he was satisfied, even more so when a soaked L came running down the stairs and into the kitchen.
"It was you!"
He panted as he pointed an accusing finger towards Light, who was smiling smugly with his hands on his hips.
"It most certainly was. Now, will you quit being such a lazy ass and help me?"
The tall raven grumbled a few undecipherable words under his breath.
"What was that?"
"Nothing."
"Will you help me?"
"..."
Light, who was unhappy with the answer he got, decided to play the sex card.
"I was going to let you have your way with me tonight. I guess you'll just have to wait..."
L immediately perked up at the mention of sex. He looked down at his wet clothes and offered an awkward smile towards Light.
"I'll be back in one second."
Matt, who was standing behind the doorway, made his presence known after his father left the kitchen. He made his way to his mother, who was putting a pile of plates away in a cupboard below the counter, and tugged on the back of his apron.
"Mom, what did you mean when you said you would let Daddy have his way with you tonight?"
Light let out an unattractive, high pitched noise.
"You heard that?"
