Yukiko was about to head towards her room after a long days work in family's inn. It was then she heard a loud noise coming inside her room making her freeze. "Eek! Someone broke into my room?!" She said, now frightened.
But wait! She faced otherworldly monsters before, she can certainly take on some petty robber! Taking a deep breath, she threw her door open and saw...A marshmallow. A pink marshmallow with a balloon-like body watching cartoons on her TV.
She stared blankly at the scene for a moment before closing the door and opening it again. The marshmallow was still there. She closed the door and opened it again. Still there. A third time. Still there. By that point, she took the hint that it was real.
Kirby tilted his head seeing Yukiko before smiling and waving at her "HI!"
Yukiko snapped out of her trance and smiled at the sound of the voice. It sounded so young and innocent much like a child. She stepped forward and took a seat on her bed.
"Hello there. I'm Yukiko. What's your name?" Yukiko said making Kirby blink.
Kirby said slowly "Y...Yuki?"
"YukiKO." She corrected with a small smile.
"Yu...ki. Yuki?"
"Just one more syllable!" Yukiko said in an encouraging manner. "YukiKO."
"Yuki. Yukiko!" Kirby said making the girl smile.
"Very good!" She praised, applauding the little puffball's efforts.
"Yay!" Kirby bounced up and down excitedly
Yukiko decided to give Kirby a treat for his well-done action.
"Fankoo!" Kirby smiled as he happily ate the piece of candy. Yukio watched fondly as the puffball ate.
"Now, it's your turn. What's your name?" Yukiko asked nicely to Kirby.
"Ah!" It said, and Yukiko leaned in curiously as it struggled to say the right words. "K...Ka...Karb...Kirby!"
Yukiko blinked. "Kirby?"
"Kiwby! I Kiwby!" Kirby greeted with a wave.
"Kiwby?" Yukiko asked.
"Nuh-uh! Kiwby!" Kirby pointed to the letter R on the cover of one of her books.
"Oh! Kirby!" Yukiko said understanding now.
"Kiwby! Kiwby!" Kirby cheered, dancing with his hands above his head.
Yukiko giggled at Kirby, he was so CUTE!
Kirby smiled at her giggling. "You waff!" He said happily. "You happy!"
"Yes, Kirby. I am happy." Yukiko smiled.
"Yaaaaay!" Kirby cheered.
"Where are you from Kirby?" Yukiko asked being curious as she didn't what to make of Kirby. Was he a sentient Persona? A cartoon character come to life? Or the world's cutest Shadow?
"I fwom WAAAAAY up there!" Kirby pointed out the window at the sky above.
"Up in the sky? Wait! That would mean your a-" Yukiko choked out not believing something so adorable was actually from outer space!
Kirby nodded his head. "Yup! Kiwby's awien! Fwom ouwa spase!" He said happily.
Yukiko brain had a complete meltdown from information overload. This shocking revelation was too much for her as she fainted from shock. Kirby looked at her with a frown and tilted his head. "Sweepy?" He asked curiously.
Kirby poked at Yukiko to see if she would wake up, but got no response. So, he decided to go back to watching his cartoons as he didn't want to ruin Yukiko's nap.
