The tale of the lost ones
Not so long ago in the United States total chaos broke out. A virus began to spread killing the government and president quickly leading to the epocolyps.
Me and my gang of 10 are what they call the lost ones. We acquired this name from a "cure" for the virus. This so called cure ended up killing half of our already dying group and many others so we disappeared and many assumed we were lost. Our group of 11 consists of me (Rain), holly, Sam, Dextanee, William, Michel, Leo, Hannah, Dana, Jimithy, and Maliki.
Oh yeah andThe kingdom is after us, and they are the biggest group not to be taken out. We where lost to the world but not to them. We found a place to settle down because we need time to plant the seeds we stole last planting season, from guess who the kingdom.
After we settled in a giant cavern where we decided to make our home. We where unpacking our things when we heard a noise outside. I looked around and Leo was no where to be seen.
"Where is Leo?", Machel asked.
I got up and ran outside where I saw Leo laying on his back under a tree in the fatal position.
"What happened?" I half shout at him.
"I fell out of the tree, and ya know OW!" Leo shouted. He's so cute when he's upset.
"Are you ok." I say calmly. He shakes his head yes and I help him up to go finish unpacking.
When we begin to unpack I look up and Leo is staring at me. Our eyes meet and it's like we're the only two people in the world then I remember the work and reality comes hurtling back.
Later that night after we finish planting I went outside and climbed up one of the shorter trees and watched as the moon came into the sun set. Then all of a sudden I heard movement behind me. I turn around to see Leo climbing the tree. When he gets to the top he sits next to me and watches the sunset.
"You almost for get how messed up re world is in moments like this and that's why they're my favorites." Leo says then he puts his arm around me and I feel my stomach do a flip, as we watch the sunset together, when he turns and out eyes meet and then he kissed me.
