Iris smiled down at her cat, Kittan. She was watching season two, already. Kittan fell asleep at the end of season one. She looked at the clock and calender. December 19th, 2:53 in the morning. She wished silently. "Please, get a better life for my family and I," her thoughts pleaded. The now thirteen year old laid down her head and closed her eyes, when she felt a change in the softness of her normally hard bed. Suddenly, she knew, someone with magic had heard her wish.
She sat up, and.. outside, the moon grinned, blood dripping from in between its teeth. She got up and slid out of bed, feeling drawn to go outside and see what was there. But before she did that, she grabbed her small dart gun, which she had tipped the darts with a mix of deadly chemicals, and learned how to use it without hurting herself before she did that. For someone with a short distance what she could see, she had good aim. With glasses, it was a chance risen by 10% she'd hit, which was about 50% with glasses. Outside, someone knocked on her door, whereas, she laid concealed in the darkness atop the house, with gloves and a hood with shades. Suddenly she heard a voice.
"Iris, its just someone from the academy. Maybe you made it in?" Iris jumped and dropped the dart-gun, heading back inside. She took off the hood and shades, but kept the gloves. She hurried downstairs and opened the door. "Ms Iris Gray, 14?" the person guessed. "Yeah? So?" she asked, staying a couple of feet away. "You've been accepted. Happy birthday as well." She studied the person carefully, her cold eyes trying to detect why the hell this person came at three in the morning to say 'hey, you've been accepted into a school. Oh, and happy birthday.' It was a man, but he was kind of boring-looking in all honesty."Okay. Go away now," she said bluntly, shutting the door. A hand blocked it. "Oh, and, I forgot." The door was pried back open. "Here." A drawing book was calmly held in the man's hands, and she took it. "Thanks, person," she said, before shutting the door on the man and going upstairs into her bedroom. "Ew, I had to make physical contact with someone," she whispered to herself.
Upstairs, a young man with dark hair and yellow-green eyes stood by a bedroom close to her own. "So, did we make it?" he asked. His name popped up in her head. "Yeah, Kaden. We're starting tomorrow I assume. Get some sleep," she said, dropping into her bed. She did have a dream that night.
{In Iris' very, very messy and disorganized dream}
A tall, pale woman stood before the gun-wielder, who was sitting in a chair atop a lake. "So, I see you're the only one who notices this isn't where you're from. Very intelligent young lady, I must say," the woman said. Iris studied the woman's features and realized something. "Why do you look like me?" she asked. The woman smiled and asked, "Do you want to be late?"
{Hello, timeskip, 7:00, the top of DWMA stairs}
Iris stretched and tilted her head. "Why is it so symmetrical?" she asked no-one. She looked at her schedule and saw her first class was the crescent moon class, taught by Professor Stein.
A/N: I'm starting to wonder why I even created this character. My first fanfic, don't be hateful. Not appriciated.
