Kano is being transported to a more secured prison because he's a highly, valuable, wanted man. There are ten armored vehicles that acts as convoy. Inside the vehicle where Kano is are ten heavily equipped guards. Yep, he's a highly, valuable, wanted man. Bad luck of him to get caught by Sonya Blade because his cover was blown, thanks to his malfunctioning cloaking device.
Just then, loud explosions occur outside that caused the armor vehicle to shake. Kano never sees what's happening outside but he hears the guards' words.
"Shit! We're under attack!"
"The others were destroyed! We're the only one left!"
"Prepare to engage in battle!"
Sounds of gurgling coming from the driver's seat are heard. The guards with Kano are on high alert, knowing they're next. Then the vehicle's rear is blasted open and a smoke grenade bursts. Blinded and taken by surprise, the guards are quickly and easily killed. No sounds of gun fire happened, only the sounds of slices from a dagger and dying men are heard.
When the smoke's gone, Kano smiles at the sight he sees. The guards lie dead in a pool of blood and standing over them is his son who came to rescue him.
