AN: Another one! I love Tavriska and feel it is an unappreciated ship, I shall work tirefully to right this wrong even if it takes me ten minutes!
Kanaya: Eishenkya Does Not Own Homestuck.
Fly Pupa, flyyyyyyyy!
Vriska smiled in satisfaction as the green outfitted boy jumped off the cliff. For one brief foolhardy moment, the boy did seem to be flying. Emerald green contrasted with the black of an Alternian sky, his outstretched arms looked like they were embracing the sky when they were really meant to break the fall. His legs bent at an angle that was actually very Pupa like. For a second Vriska glanced at his face and did not see terror, but the look of a boy who had gotten his heart's wish.
Vriska's own heart skipped a beat. Fuck.
The moment was over and the descent had begun. Alternia was fast approaching and there was nothing to cushion the fall. Vriska sat on the edge of the cliff, her control over him gone, but still laughing at his defeat. Tavros closed his eyes a split second before he met the ground.
He made a sort of yell/crunch sound when he landed.
"How did it feel to flyyyyyyyy, Toreadork?"
Nothing. Vriska smirked. Little shit was probably in shock. She slid down the cliff, stopping a few feet short of the body. Her shoes got scuffed up, but no matter, she wasn't wearing the red ones today. She took two steps towards him, frowning at the sound her foot made squelching in the mud.
Mud.
She didn't remember mud.
Well, there sure was a lot of it now. An uneven mixture of it, the exact color of the blood seeping from Tavros's head. A wide gash started at his left eyebrow, ending somewhere past his left horn. A small harline fracture towards the end of it. Vriska's heart was in her throat. Legs bent at such an unnatural angle. She walked to the Taurus, fighting the urge to run and make a fool of herself. People were watching, staring, judging.
Who cares? They'll be dead and eaten before morning comes.
Vriska shook her head, kneeling next to the boy, checking for a pulse. Was he gone?
A special treat for your lusus.
She grit her teeth and turned away from the thought. A pulse was there. Faint but there. She commanded a large troll to get Tavros some help. The rest left to continue their death march.
Fly Pupa, flyyyyyyyy.
Fly, yeah right. Would Pupa even walk?
This thought sends a wave of agony over her. She is surprised at this emotion, what was he to her?
She once again turned away from these thoughts. She walked home with the question of red or black on her mind, and the image of Pupa flying in her heart.
AN: I liked it. Don't know about you, but I liked it. :o)
Tavros: rEVIEW TO HEAL ME!
