The Mysteries of Enigma Island (Documentary by Aras Jones)
If you've ever been asked, where on earth could you find a place where ghosts haunt, mythical creatures roam and fear runs rampant, you may be answered with Enigma Island. This strange island off the coast of Canada is filled with claims of demons and occurrences in the spectral plain. But do these claims have any proof? Is the island truly haunted? Or is it just an elaborate prank? Today, it is my mission to find out...is enigma island truly haunted?
On first sight, the island looks quite normal, albeit undisturbed. Is this an early sign? With daunting thick woods and a large imposing mountain in the distance, it certainly looks threatening. However, nothing beyond that seems to suggest anything paranormal. There are no creatures, weird noises or even fog. It is disappointing.
Our boat slowly edges up to the abandoned dock. There are no sight of any humans, though there are some weird fishing shacks behind. We get off the rocking boat. The first thing I noticed is that the dock seems very unstable, as if it could fall apart any second. There are more signs of unkemptness and isolation, though yet again, nothing paranormal.
"Have you noticed anything haunting yet?" I ask my cameraman Leslie, who didn't seem to be expecting being talked to.
Leslie looked in the distance before saying: "Uh...no? But I'm not the expert here."
''Tis a shame. Even the expert hasn't noticed anything yet." I say, before practically leaping over the last plank of wood on the dock. "My eager eyes are not failing me yet!"
Leslie shrugs nonchalantly. Oh I wish he could be more enthusiastic! We are making history here! "Want to explore that shack over there? I'm so excited!"
"Aren't we all?" Leslie shrugged, clearly not enthusiastic at all. I trudged on bravely into the abandoned shack, not fearing for what may be on the other side. My courage is really shining through, isn't it?
Slowly, I pry open the decaying wooden door. I take a tiny peek inside, to sadly see nothing. Though some spectral beings mask their physical forms, so we can't rule anything out yet. However, inside this abandoned shack, there isn't much. There was an upturned table, a few smashed wooden chips and an empty stove. Come on, there must be some draws or a wardrobe here somewhere?
Leslie taps me on the shoulder. "Uh, there's a locked chest here."
Ooh! A chest? This might give me a hint! Hopefully, I'll might be able to find something that will prove this Island is truly haunted.
Quickly, I scuffled over to the chest and opened it up. Even though I had to strain my muscles, I proved my strength. The dust infiltrates my nose, though I continue on.
Inside the chest is some...fishing bait...a fishing rod...and erm, a picture. A picture of an old man, with greying black hair and a flashy smile, with a little girl. It must be her daughter. How emotional, what happened to this man?
"Leslie, do you know this man?" I call out.
"Leslie? Why are you ignoring me?" I turn around, shocked. On the floor is the camera, which must have been dropped. However, there is no sight of Leslie. Did he pull a runner? But why, was he frightened?
"Leslie, this isn't funny." I call out, looking about. Picking up the camera, I move on. He must have went outside, there is nowhere to hide in that pitiful fishing shed.
CRASH!
What was that noise? Hmm, this sure is weird but exciting. After forty three failed episodes, maybe I'll actually have an episode where we do find something haunting!
Hmm, footsteps? Maybe it's just Leslie! Hopefully not though…
Aarrghhhh!
Saffron Tanaka
Huh? What was that? Why was there such an abrupt ending? Saffron wondered what happened to that Aras guy…He was cute and funny. Plus he loved paranormal things, just like her! They had so much in common.
Hmm, the best thing about was about that was Enigma Island! It was intriguing, cool and mysterious! It was perfect for the new season of Total Drama! Saffron was the host of the new season and it was her job to find a brand new scary island. It seemed perfect and it was abandoned.
All she had to do was call the producer! What was her name again? She wanted to say Ellie, though that didn't seem formal enough. That couldn't be right. Saffron knew she was a fancy uptight snob, who had rich parents. Maybe it was Victoria?
Aha! It was Lana! She grabbed for her phone and dialled the number. Lana picked it up and said in her firm tone: "What do you want at this hour?"
"I found the perfect place to host the new season!"
"Before you say anything, it can't be in a haunted mansion."
"I know that! You've told me so many times! It's on an island! An abandoned island called Enigma Island! It looks perfect for a new season!" Saffron said, very excited.
Lana scoffed. "I'll be sure to check it out...now can you go? I'm tired. You interrupted my beauty sleep.
"Ok!" Saffron said, before ending the call! She'd love the island and they'd have the season! It would be great!
Welcome to Total Drama Enigma Island! 48 young adults from across the world will all be entered on to this strange island to compete in the brand new season of Total Drama! Chris won't be hosting it, as this is set fifteen years in the future. Instead, the paranormal loving Saffron will be hosting it instead.
This is like the normal show of Total Drama, with not much difference. However there will be added twists and it'll be quite serious. This season will focus on the drama, not the the comedy, though it won't be 100% seriousness all the time!
