It had been five years since I met Kagome, but all I could think of was Kira. My first love. My only true love. Even though she was a demon, she was pure and innocent. Everything about her left me wanting more and more. Her gorgeous blue hair and her beautiful blue kimono was fantastic on her. I wish I could've stayed with her forever. But sadly our love ended when she left me.
Flashback
"Inuyasha, I'm leaving," Kira said as she gave me a hug
"Why?" I asked
"Because you betrayed me with Her," She replied with hurt in her voice.
"Who?"
"I saw you with Kikyo,"
"I never…I..,"
"Save it Inuyasha! I know what I saw! I thought I loved you! Why? Why would you choose her over me? Is it because she's human? Tell me!"
"Kira. I never meant for you to get hurt,"
"Then what!?! Was I supposed to stay calm? How can I when the man I love kisses another woman!?!"
"It's not that I just…"
"Good-bye Inuyasha. I will always love you," she said as she left.
End of Flashback
"Inuyasha, what's wrong? You have been staring out into space all day. What is it?" Kagome asked
"It's nothing wench. Now where is my Ramen," I snapped. I didn't mean to do it. I just needed her to leave me alone. "I'm going for a walk. Nobody better come after me," I said and ran off. I needed to go somewhere to think. All of a sudden a familiar scent came into the air. Wait I recognized it. It was Kira's scent. I was trying to figure out which way it came from when she walked towards me.
"Kira?"
"Inuyasha, I missed you. Are you still with her?"
"No! She bound me to a tree dammit,"
"Yeah I saw. Is there anyone else in your heart?"
"No. I couldn't think of anyone besides you. I love you and I always have,"
"You don't know how long I have waited for you to say those words," Kira said as she kissed me. I kissed her back and held her. A gasp was heard from behind the sacred tree. I turned and saw Kagome, standing there with hurt in her eyes.
"Inuyasha, Who is that woman?" Kira demanded.
"It's just Kagome, my shard detector. That's all she is to me," I replied
"Good. But you don't need her. I can see jewel shards now," Kira said while she was grabbing my hand
"Really?" I asked
"Yes, I want to join your group. You can have two jewel shard detectors instead of one. We can also share a hut if you want," She explained. I grabbed her and kissed her. Suddenly aware that Kagome left, but I didn't care. As long as I have Kira, I'm happy. Kira grabbed my ears and started rubbing. I growled playfully in her mouth. I wanted to take her right there but I had to fix what was left of Kagome and mine's friendship. As I pulled away, Kira looked at me confused.
"Did I do something wrong?" She asked
"No. We need to talk to the group and see what they think," I lied
"Sounds good," She said as she pulled me in for one last kiss and we headed to the village holding hands.
