This is gonna be a one shot for TimKon, though if this story gets a lot of support i may consider continuing it. I really love this ship and don't see a lot of it on this website. I don't own any of these characters, only this story... Tim's POV.
K+
I can see from the corner of my eye that Connor is glaring at La'gaan and M'gann. I knew that Connor had dumped her, though I wasn't sure why. Connor is my best friend, but whenever I ask him about M'gann he gets all defensive. I wish he knew how much he could trust me, I wish Bruce knew how much I could trust him. I wish I could just tell him who I am. I wish I didn't have to keep any secret from him.
I hear M'gann giggle as La'gaan whispers something in his ear. From my peripheral vision I can see Superboy get up and walk away. I know where he is going, he is going out to the top of the mountain, under the stars. Connor loves being under the stars, watching the grass dance with the wind, and feelin the moon reflecting off his skin. It always calmed him. He took me to his special spot once. All the way at the top of the mountain. He had to carry me there. That's where he is now.
I get up from the couch and leave the mountain, I grapple as far up as my rope can reach, but there is still like 20 feet to go up. I use what i learned in my training to climb the rest of the way up. I see him, I know he knows i'm here.
"Connor?" I call to him. He doesn't reply. I walk over to him and sit down beside him. "You alright?" I ask.
"I'm fine Robin." I hate when he calls me that. I know that it's not his fault, though I really wish he would call me Tim.
"No you aren't." I tell him. He turns his head to the side and looks at me, I can feel his gaze. I slightly turn my head to meet his heavy gaze. I see his beautiful eyes, searching. They can't find what they are looking for. He can't see my eyes. I just want to rip these damn sunglasses off of my face so he can see the windows to my soul.
"You know me so well..." he uttered.
"Yet you know nothing about me.." I replied indignantly.
"Oh come on, it's not your fault." he says. I really want to tell him. He deserves to know. I can trust him.
"Yea, it's Bruce's.." I mumble to myself.
"Who's Bruce?" Connor asks. I forgot that he had super hearing. Dammit Drake... How am I gonna pull this off?
"Uhhh.. no one.." I tell him. Real smooth, Drake.
"If you say so." He replies.
"Seriously?" I ask. "You didn't even pry. See this is why I lo-.. I like you so much." I say. I really hope he didn't catch my slip up. "You don't invade personal space." I smile at him.
"There is no reason to pry, you will tell me when you are ready." Connor smiled to me.
I am ready... I sigh, "Bruce is my adoptive father." I tell him.
"Oh.." he says.
"He adopted me when my father was killed. If it wasn't for Bruce I would have never met you." I smiled.
"Then tell him I said thanks.." Connor awkwardly spoke.
"You can do it yourself. Though he might be a little intimidating." I smirk.
"Batman?" he asked.
"Yep." I assure. I look him in the eye as I slowly peel off the sunglasses I was wearing. Before they were fully off I shut my eyes. I removed the glasses completely. I slowly open my eyes. "And I'm Tim, Tim Drake." I introduce myself, extending a hand.
Instead of shaking my hand like I expected, he grabbed my shoulder and pulled me into a hug. I felt his smile on my cheek, which made me smile.
