Opening the door to her home, Cat, Kara and their new little bundle of joy, who was sound a sleep in the younger blonde's arms, Kiera, walked into threshold of the penthouse. Putting down the bag she had been carrying from the DEO, which was full of clothes, Cat shut the door and went up to her Kryptonian partner, and wrapped an arm around her shoulder.

"I know it hasn't been that long since I was last here," said Kara, her eyes scanning the place before her with her blue eyes, "but it feels like it's been forever."

"Well, darling, a lot has been going on," Cat told her, which was true. After their baby girl was born, the DEO wanted to do a few extra tests, safe tests, to see little Kiera was alright in the long run. Kara had stayed by her daughter's side, like any mother would do for their child and whenever the girl was not being tested on, the new Kryptonian mother would have her back in her arms again.

Cat had taken a few days off from work to stay by the side of the two most important people in her life. Her heart would swell every time she entered the room were Kara would kiss the little bundle's head, whisper sweet nothings to her whenever she began to show even a hint of waterworks, or just see her sleeping with Kiera in the same bed, the little girl's hand squeezing onto Kara's pinky finger.

It would make the older blonde's heart swell and there was nothing more that Catherine Jane Grant, billionaire of her company of CatCo, could ask for. "Come on darling," Cat spoke up. "There's something I want to show you." The younger blonde looked the CatCo founder in confusion, but went along when the CEO pulled her forward. They walked to the guest bedroom that had it's door shut.

"What's going on, Cat?" Kara asked, the girl facing her wife-to-be.

"Open it," was all she said. Raising an eyebrow, her blue gaze went back to the door, reaching out for the handle, before pushing it open. The Kryptonian mother's hand shot up toward her open mouth, her eyes roaming around the room as she stepped inside. Tears began to gather up in her eyes.

"Oh, Cat," she choked, making the woman smile, stepping behind her fiancée and wrapping her arms around Kara's middle, placing her chin on her shoulder. Pink wallpaper decorated the walls, with flower patterns, while the ceiling was also the same colour with paint. The bed that had been there originally was now replaced with a wooden cot, engraved with Kryptonain words (which Kara gasped about and looked like she couldn't breathe), that read Kiera's name, a rocking chair next to the cot and as much stuffed animals that could have possibly fit into the room.

"Do you like it?" Cat asked from over her shoulder.

"It's beautiful, Cat," replied Kara, the tears now falling free down her cheeks. "When did you do this?"

"While you were at the DEO, sleeping," she started, "I was doing this every night. I had a little help from certain people, making this room a possibility."

"I love it," the Kryptonian said, turning her head to look at the love of her life and pressed her lips in a quick, gentle kiss. Moving further into the room, Kara made her way toward the wooden cot, placing her bundle of joy gently down and pulled over the covers. She watched in silence, her little girl's chest bobbing up and down peacefully. Cat was once again by her side, wrapping an arm around her waist and the younger woman knelt into her side, placing her head of the older one's shoulder. "It's perfect."

The pair of mothers watched their daughter for a while, enjoying the moment. Cat was the one to break it, her lips placing themselves on Kara's head. "So Kara," she said, "you're on maternity leave and CatCo is doing well that it won't need me as much. What would you like to do in this spare time that we have?"

She raised her head, and gave a Cat a smile. A smile she knew all too well. "I could think of a few things." Just hearing those words made the media mogul's core grow with heat and need.

Without having to say anything, she took Kara's hand and the pair went to their bedroom. The older woman pressed the younger blonde into the closed door, their mouths already making contact with once another, tongues looking for the other as they melted into one.

It was a very productive night with tired limbs tangled with one another, the couple smiling in their sleep.

Their new life only just beginning.
