Miroku and Inuyasha were fighting the puppet of Naraku when a voice called out, "Naraku. So, we meet. You and I have never met, but, you have caused me pain and anguish ten years ago, and, for that, I will NEVER forgive you."
Naraku laughed, "You voice sounds very familiar."
The voice yelled, "Well, here's something to remember me by! ULTIMATE TIN REAMER SOUL STEALER!"
That attack hit the puppet, and destroyed it.
The figure jumped out of the forest and failed to land on his feet, which made him land on his back.
Miroku, Kagome, Shippou, Inuyahsa and a seriously injured Sango, with help from Inuyahsa, all rushed to the figure's position, who wore the Shinto priest's clothing, but they noticed the demon exterminator's clothing below, and he had black hair with silver stripes, and they carried him to the demon exterminator's village.
At Sango's house, they all tried to heal the figure as best they could.
Finally, the figure spoke. He said, "It… It was a demon puppet. Damn you, Naraku. You may have escaped me this time, but… You are only delaying your doom."
Inuyasha snarled, "All right then. Speak. Who are you?"
The figure laughed, "Inuyasha. You haven't changed in these ten years, have you?"
Miroku asked, "Who are you?"
The figure calmly replied, "My name is Taishomaru. I am the head priest of Kyoto. I am also a demon exterminator."
Sango quipped, "That attack you just did… It looked similar to Inuyahsa's Iron Reamer Soul Stealer."
Taishomaru grinned. "Perceptive as always, Sango?"
Sango asked, "How do you know my name?"
Taishomaru sighed, "Everybody in the Demon Extermination business has heard of the famous Sango."
He continued, "But you're right. That was the ultimate version of my demon attack, Tin Reamer Soul Stealer. And, I just so happen to be 1-quarter demon. That's enough to do it. Oh, did I forget to mention that I am Inuyahsa's cousin?"
They also noticed a sword on him.
Kagome asked, "Is this similar to the Tetsuaiga and Tensuaiga?"
He looked at Kagome and said sadly, "Yeah. This is the cousin blade to both of them, the Setsuaiga. You must… DAMN YOU NARAKU!"
Miroku said, "You never told me you had a cousin."
Inuyasha snickered, "You never asked, Miroku."
Kagome offered, "Please. Allow us to introduce ourselves. I'm Kagome."
Shippou smiled, "And, since you already know Inuyahsa and Sango, I'm Shippou!"
Miroku grinned, "And I'm Miroku."
Taishomaru replied, "Glad to meet you all."
Kagome asked, "Hey, Taishomaru. What are you doing here? Why aren't you doing your duties at the Kyoto Temple?"
Taishomaru answered, "I felt that the matters of the heart were more important than the matters of the soul."
Miroku sighed sadly, "Something must've happened during ten years ago that made him feel this way, to lock up his heart and feel that he could never love again. Something so personal, that Naraku was defenitely involved."
Inuyahsa snarled, "And I know what that incident is."
Sonic Angel: Now with a head priest
of Kyoto who is also a demon exterminator has joined the Shikon no Tama
on their quest to retrieve the jewel shards of the Shikon Jewel, what was
the incident ten years ago that made Taishomaru feel that he could never
love? Again? Does it have to do with Kikyo? Next time, "The
