Okay, be patient with me. I've wanted to make this story for a while, and it involves a (in my opinion) complex character that I MAY not have the desire to finish writing. I apologize in advance if I don't finish it. Also, I won't be going into crazy detail with each year. It'll be about one year each me if you want something explained more, but I'll only have the most important events from that year.

Short bio:

Rebecca Lowe was born to Samuel and Christina Lowe, both purebloods. While they have anti-Muggle attitudes(Samuel more than Christina), expecting their first child had them quickly pull out of the First Wizarding War, a move that pureblood Death Eater families today still tease them about. Samuel was the only member of the family to get the Dark Mark and be recognized as a Death Eater. He avoided prosecution by saying that it was an Imperius Curse that made him join, a curse that he said he broke with his will and returned to his family. Christina is a very loving and protective mother, like a cross between Molly Weasley and Narcissa Malfoy.

Rebecca at an early age learned the anti-Muggle way of thinking from her father, which irked her mother since she no longer wanted to be a part of that group of people and be despised by many wizards and witches who thought opposite, and soon discovered the Black family. She was amazed by their rigor in their beliefs and even disowning of members who did not despise non-purebloods. This led her to love the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black. She had a desire to be a part of it, a desire so strong it would alter her future life plans. She discovered Bellatrix Lestrange and immediately called her the best witch in the entire world and her idol, who she had a strong desire to meet and become her apprentice. She even asked her father about her, but he merely waved her off, saying he didn't know much about any of them.

It was with this background and a very pro-pureblood attitude that Rebecca Lowe was sent off to her first year of Hogwarts.

First year:

"But Mum, I wanted a cat!" Rebecca complained for the fiftieth time that day.

"You can get a cat if you get good marks this entire year." Christina Lowe responded, adjusting Rebecca's collar.

"Alright." Rebecca agreed.

"Hurry now, the train will be leaving soon." Samuel said, standing off to the side with Rebecca's trunk.

"Oh alright, I just don't want to let her go!" Christina said, kissing Rebecca on the cheek once again. Rebecca was surprised a dent wasn't in her cheek yet. "I love you."

"Love you too, Mum." Rebecca replied. "Love you, Dad."

"Love you too." Samuel responded.

Rebecca grabbed her trunk and made her way onto the train, avoiding the other families saying farewell. She managed to make it onto the train and find a compartment with only one person in it, a bushy-haired girl with her nose in some book. Rebecca didn't recognize the girl and decided it was her anti-social skills that was the cause. She pulled the trunk into the compartment, but didn't put it up on the rack just yet.

"Hello. My name's Rebecca Lowe. What's yours?" She said, sticking out her hand to the girl.

The girl looked up and, saving her place, put the book on the seat next to her.

"I'm Hermione Granger." The girl shook her hand. Rebecca didn't recognize the name, but Lowe was an uncommon pureblood name as well.

"What do your parents do?" Rebecca asked. It was the first in a series of questions her father had drilled into her head to ask in order to find out someone's blood status discreetly.

"They're dentists." Hermione immediately responded.

"Dentists?" She didn't recognize the word and slightly positioned herself towards the compartment door. "They're Muggles?"

"Muggles? That's non-magical people, right?" Hermione asked.

"Ugh! You're a Mudblood! A filthy Mudblood!" Rebecca spat, disgusted.

She opened the compartment door and quickly sped out with her trunk. She began searching for another compartment with purebloods in it. She eventually came to one with four people in it, three boys and one girl, who all looked her age and had the air of purebloods about them. She opened the compartment door. They immediately stopped talking and turned to her.

"Yes?" The girl asked rudely.

"I wondered if I could sit here. The other compartments are all filled with filthy Mudbloods." Rebecca said with disgust.

"Of course you can." The girl immediately brightened up. "I'm Pansy Parkinson. This is Draco Malfoy, Vincent Crabbe, and Gregory Goyle. What's your name?"

Rebecca perked up at the name 'Draco Malfoy' because she recognized it as the name of the nephew of Bellatrix Lestrange. But she introduced herself before she launched into questions.

"I'm Rebecca Lowe." She said, putting her trunk up on the rack and sitting down next to Pansy.

"Lowe? I've never heard that name before." Pansy questioned.

"It's not very common, but believe me when I say we have pure blood." Rebecca told her. She turned to Draco. "Is your mother Narcissa Black?"

He paused, slightly thrown off by the question. "Yes."

Rebecca's face lit up instantly.

"Then you're the one and only nephew of Bellatrix Lestrange!" Rebecca practically squealed.

"And?" Pansy said, obviously annoyed at Rebecca's fascination with Draco.

"Bellatrix Lestrange is THE best witch in the entire wizarding world! And YOU'RE related to her!" Rebecca squealed.

Once at Hogwarts, Rebecca stood in line to be sorted along with the other first years. She desperately wanted to be in Slytherin and thought she would die if she wasn't. It eventually got to her and she proudly walked up to the Sorting Hat, even though her stomach was full of butterflies. Professor McGonagall placed the hat on her head and she heard the Sorting Hat talk to her.

"Ahhh, very smart. Yet cunning and, do I see it? Manipulative? You're already thinking of ways to get into the Black Family and you're only eleven. I can see your plans forming in your head." The hat droned.

"Just get on with it and put me in Slytherin or I swear I will burn you to a crisp you filthy-"

"Slytherin!" The Sorting Hat yelled out loud before Rebecca could finish her mental threat.

She broke out into a wide grin and held her head high as she walked over to the Slytherin table.

"Hey Mudblood, where are you going?" Rebecca called down the hallway to where Hermione, Ron, and Harry were walking. Pansy and a few other Slytherin girls stood behind her.

"Oh sod off, Lowe!" Ron retorted.

"I don't believe I was talking to you, blood traitor." Rebecca replied.

"Just leave us alone." Hermione huffed.

"Not until you tell me how you've been getting such high marks. Have you been cheating? Having Weasley and Potter pass you the answers? Or maybe writing them on your arm?" Rebecca continued.

"I actually study, unlike some people." Hermione spat.

"Oh I know you aren't talking about me!" Rebecca hissed. She pulled her wand out of her robes. Harry and Ron did the same.

"Don't flatter yourself. You think you're so high and mighty because your parents are pureblood! But you're not. You're lower than even me." Hermione spat back.

"Excuse me!" Rebecca pointed her wand at Hermione's face. Harry and Ron tensed.

"You heard me!" Hermione shouted back.

"What on earth is going on here?" Professor McGonagall rounded the corner.

Rebecca, Harry, and Ron all quickly stashed their wands.

"Just a little spat, professor. Hermione accused me of not studying for tests and then she called me low status!" Rebecca told her as innocently as possible.

"She accused me of cheating!" Hermione quickly inserted.

"That is ENOUGH. I want all of you to either get to class or go to your common rooms. I won't take any points this time, but don't let me catch you fighting again." McGonagall said, shooing them away. They all turned and disappointingly walked back to their common rooms.

Rebecca's first year in all included befriending Draco Malfoy (yet not hanging around regularly with him and his gang) and Pansy Parkinson (but not regularly hanging out with her gang either). Her and Hermione began their hateful relationship, which would continue well into their seventh year. Rebecca, being very involved in her studies so she could be deemed worthy of being Bellatrix's apprentice, got one of the highest marks in her year and the highest marks in Slytherin in her year. She went home excited to receive that kitten her parents promised her.

Ugh! Why did I choose such a long character name? Rebecca is seven letters long and I have to repeatedly type it! Anyway, I know Rebecca isn't the typical OC character you're used to seeing. She's eviler, much eviler, and I hope you don't judge her because of it. I promise by the end of this fanfiction you will either sympathize with her or hate me for lying to you and saying that you'll like her. Year two is next chapter!
