What Invader ZIM Has Done To Me
I don't want you to think that this is an essay that was made out of shear bordom.
I want you to know that it is not an essay. It was not made out of bordom.
It's a tribute made out of true dedication.
"Ugh! How many times are they going to show that stupid commercial?!" I said as the Invader ZIM commercial played on the TV telling everyone what time it would show and what day. I had sworn that they had been playing that commercial twenty times a minute for a year! I was fed up with all the new cartoons coming on Nickelodeon. "I'm going to be happily chating online when that stupid show comes on. UGH! I wish they wouldn't torcher me with this junk!" I thought to myself. I so fed up with Nick I thought 'my head would explode'. "I'll make sure I don't watch that...cartoon. If you even wanna call that thing a cartoon!" I said to myself pointing to the TV and walking to the computer.
Then came that forbidden day. Nickelodeon was annoucing it ALL DAY! I was even more agervated then, than I was when I saw the commercials. "Errr..." I had said all day while hearing everyone on Slime Time Live say Invader ZIM this and Invader ZIM that. I was just not happy! I walked to the computer and hoped I would just get over this whole thing. Oh, but I didn't.
"Well, online is quiet boring right now. " I said as I got off the computer and headed to the TV. I turned on the TV and do you know what I heard? I heard "And now the premiere of Invader ZIM!" I thought I might as well give it a chance and I sat down.
You wouldn't believe how much I laughed during this half-hour! I do believe my ribs hurt after awhile! I was totally change from that day on. I talked and acted like GIR mainly, because Dib got on my nerves and I thought ZIM was mean to GIR. I sung the doom song, which I thought was the do song, at the time. No matter, it changed my life.
Weeks and months went by. I got more absorbed in this incredible show. I memorized episodes and became friends with people online that loved Invader ZIM as much as I did. I felt that life just couldn't get much better. Any better in that fact. I became so absorbed in this show, I guess I became obsessed. Strongly obsessed! Though I never new I would some day have to become a soldier of this wonderful show.
