I've been dying inside,
Little by little,
No where to go,
But going out of my mind
In endless circles

- 'What's Left of Me' by Nick Lachey

Calleigh Duquesne had stood next to Lorenzo Argenta throughout the small funeral. She held his arm through it all – she above all knew how it felt to lose someone close to your heart. Lorenzo lost a child he saw as his; she lost the man who had taken her heart with him to the grave.

Slowly she walked down a familiar path within the cemetery; it was a path she knew so well. She's been through it so many times, but each time it had seemed as if it was the first time.

After Marta's funeral was over, she had left Lorenzo alone with the little girl he considered as his own. She understood the need to be alone in this predicament. She understood the need to cry your own tears, cry out your own pain – alone away from everyone and anyone. Her heart cried out to that little girl down within the grave and to that now broken man she had left behind.

At times like these, Calleigh really resented God; death had taken away an innocent man a while back and now a little girl. She knew it wasn't really God's fault, but she couldn't help but feel like that.

She finally reached her destination. There was a bit of a strong wind around her as her hair started to fly against the wind slightly. She swallowed a lump that formed within her throat as she glanced at the tombstone in front of her.

Timothy Speedle

Calleigh couldn't stop the tears that fell down from her eyes; she couldn't stop from falling down to her knees in front of the grave. Calleigh started to breathe heavily as her lips trembled as it tried to hold back a sob that wanted to break through.

Her heart was breaking all over again.

She reached out slowly with her hand to touch the headstone; it was cold against her touch. Her mind flashed back to the memory of Speed dead body, remembering how cold it was when she touched him. Her tears became two small waterfalls as they fell harder from her eyes.

Calleigh retracted her hand, as if touching the headstone had burned her fingers. Her shoulders shook, she tried taking a small breath trying to calm herself – it was useless. Slowly she reached out once more towards the headstone, tracing over the carved letters of Tim's name.

Her heart continued to break, and this time there wasn't anyone to help her pick up the pieces.

Ever since Speed had died, she had been slowly dying inside. She has tried to keep a strong front on the outside for anyone that she would come across with. But little by little she was going out her mind without her Speed, her Tim.

Calleigh brought her hand back towards her, putting them both onto her lap as she rocked herself back and forth on her knees. She and Speed had a private relationship, in where only few people knew about. A few weeks after his death, she remembers going to his apartment, along with the others, to help clean it out.

She had found something – something that had broken her heart even further. It was an engagement ring which had her initials on it.

Calleigh's body continued to tremble as her tears turned into sobs. She couldn't hold it back any longer and as it always happens when she visit this certain grave…

Calleigh broke down.
