Chapter One –
Lana Lang stepped into the place that was once hers fearing who she might seen when she walked in. Her arrival was not known to anyone and she planned to keep it that way until she was good and ready. Many conversations on the phone with Chloe caused her to really miss Smallville and how the simple life was for her, that is when someone wasn't trying to kill her on a weekly basis. A lot of things ran through her mind and Clarke Kent was deffinantly one of them but she knew that part of her life was slowly beginning to disappear. Just as her thoughts were getting the best of her while drinking a coffee Cloe Sullivan had made her way in.
"Lana Lang is deffinantly old news around here" Chloe said catching Lana's attention
"Chloe" Lana said happy to see her then gave her the biggest hug
"I'm glad to see you back" Chloe said
"How are things" Lana asked
"Things are less scary but are getting back to normal" Chloe said
"You saying normal, that's a first" Lana said
"Tell me about it" Chloe said
"So how are you doing, you know after the accident and all" Lana asked
"Well tomorrow will be three months of my fathers death" Chloe said "But otherwise things get easier day by day" she said
"I'm really sorry" Lana said
"You should see the house, it's a mess" Chloe said
"I bet, I mean you do have responsibilities now" Lana said
"Well seeing that you back in town I was hoping that it could be our responsibility" Chloe said
"You mean..." Lana said before Chloe cut her off
"Yes, that's what I mean" Chloe said
"Well how can I turn down an offer" Lana laughed. The two girl soon made their way back over to Chloe's house to engage in the female bonding activity of just gossiping all day.
Looking out the window, seeing the life outside that he once lived surprised him as being away caused him to feel right back at home. Clarke stood in Louis place as she sat in her favorite chair writing up a report for own newpaper.
"A interview with Clark Kent" Louis asked
"Huh" Clarke said
"I just want the breaking news on what Clark Kent could be thinking about" Louis asked
"Nothing really" Clarke said
"You excited about school" Louis asked
"Not really, I mean school is school. Everyone I know has left" Clarke said
"For summer or for good" Louis asked
"For good" Clarke said
"Who is everybody" Louis asked
"No one you would know" Clarke said
"Of course I wouldn't know, I just moved here" Louis said
"I'm really happy you decided to come with me" Clark said
"Its really peaceful here" Louis said
"My parents adore you" Clarke laughed
"Your mom was thrilled to have you back though" Louis said
"She was, wasn't she" Clarke said
"Maybe you regret leaving in the first place" Louis said
"I do but then again I had my reasons" Clarke said
"Which you won't tell me about" Louis said
"I will someday" Clarke said
"Keep your secrets" Louis said
"Well I should be going before my parents think I vanished for good" Clarke said grabbing his jacket
"All right. Thanks for keeping me company" Louis said walking him to the door
"Bye" Clarke said before he kissed her gently on the lips then left
Walking down the street Clarke observed all his surroundings, passing by the talon he looked to see if Lana was in there but he knew that she wouldn't be because she was in Paris having the time of her life. Losing track of where he was going he soon bumped into a familiar face.
"Lana" Clarke said
