Severus Snape slowly stepped up on to the train. His eyes scanned the long hallway for any signs of his two friends, Lilly and Maria. He saw a red headed figure dash into a compartment. He followed the red head into the compartment, finding his two best friends already seated. Severus sat down between Lilly and Maria.
"There you are Severus! We were starting to worry you hadn't made it." came Lilly's smooth and accented voice.
"Yeah man, the suspense was nearly killing us." Maria's more gruff, American-eske voice pitched in.
"Are you kidding me? I wouldn't miss Hogwarts for the world!" Severus voiced. It was true, he loved Hogwarts. Despite the bullies and the assholes that littered the place, he couldn't imagine a life with no Hogwarts. And besides that, he had Lilly and Maria and that was all he really needed.
Snape kicked his feet up on the seat across form him and lounged lazily. His friends might have done the same but they were both wearing skirts. As if sent specifically to ruin their nice, quiet moment came three boys. James, Sirius, and Peter all stepped into the tiny compartment. The three boys were all fifth years, same as Snape and Lilly and Maria, and neither of them wore their robes. They were each dressed smart casual and wore cruel looks on their faces.
"Hey Lilly- pad, Remus wanted me to tell you that there is a meeting for prefects at the back of the train and that he wanted to let you know ahead of time o that way you could be there on time." James spoke.
"Thanks Potter." Lilly said bitterly and before Potter could get a quick pick up line in while he was there, Lilly pushed past him and walked back into the halls. Potter gave Severus an evil look and went to follow Lilly, along with Sirius and Peter, leaving him and Maria alone.
Severus had always had a bit of a crush on Maria but did his best to keep it under wraps. Unfortunately, he wasn't very good at it. He would always get all nervous and blushy when the two of them were alone together. Were as she was always calm and cool about it. It drove him bonkers. He looked at her. She had long black hair, beautiful blue eyes, and the most gorgeous body you could ever see on a girl. Yet she never was very vain, ever. She was just so chill about everything it was hard to believe she was a Slytherin.
Snape hadn't realized he had been leaning closer to Maria until their lips connected. He felt his body cease up and his skin to prickle. He felt his lips, as if on instinct mold with hers. As their lips gelled together he felt her arms wrap around his neck. Finally after several moments of kissing, the two broke apart due to the necessity of air. They stared at each other for several long seconds until finally Maria broke the silence with a series of utmost laughter. Snape joined her and as the two giggled they felt all the tension in the air slowly fade away.
"Well that was unexpected." Snape spoke through fits of laughter.
"Yeah, tell me about it." Maria replied.
Finally after several minutes the train slowly but surely began to truck along it's tracks as the ships sailed on their waters.
