"I, Amber Millington, promise to respect all employees and customers that come into this store. I won't harass, offend, kick anyone out, or upset anyone. I will be on time,unless the manager knows a good reason."
Amber Millington kept repeating that over and over again knowing it was quitting time soon. She was recently hired at Macy's over in New York, USA. She needed a new job since fashion school wasn't as fun as she thought.
There was this one boy who got on her nerves. He looked like a little 7 year old kid as he ran in and out of the store laughing at her and sticking his tongue out.
" You can't catch me!" There he goes again..
" Little Boy. I'm working. Plus you don't even know who I am." Amber tells him as the boy walks up to the counter where she is.
" Oh trust me I do. You don't know me, but you know my brother. He is Fabian Rutter. All time Millionaire..."
Amber was shocked. Was this the boy Fabian always talked about? He seemed nothing like he was described as. The boy ran out of the store as his brother walked up to the counter with a cart of clothing.
" Hey Ambs. Did you meet Joseph? Isn't he adorable?"
Amber couldn't lie to her friend so she thought and said, " Yes I did. He is so sweet. Oh here are your things. See you around." Fabian waved goodbye as he grabbed his bags, Joseph, and left the store.
Patricia Williamson was sitting at Starbucks when her roommate walked in and sat next to her. Patricia couldn't help but laugh at what her friend was wearing.
" What is that Joy? It looks like Corbierre all over your head. Haha."
" Don't even mention him. That was 10 years ago."
Waiting for their drinks, Patricia got up and bumped into someone who looked very familiar. Patricia got so made due to the fact he dumped coffee on her new jacket.
" Watch is Slimeball!"
" Sorry Trixie. Looks like I have the nickname still."
" Jerome? You work here?"
Jerome laughs as Patricia scans his outfit. Then it hit Patricia. He could just be a customer.
Mara and Alfie were sitting in a cab on the way to the opening of the new theater. Mara plans on watching the new movie,(1) " Beauty and a Beat." Alfie bought a ticket to watch(2) Zaliens a zombie-alien movie.
Getting kind of awkward, Mara decides to speak up.
" So Alfie, how has life been since high-school?"
" Its been great. Living with Jerome in an apartment. I have a job at Starbucks. He works at Pranks and Perfections (3). How about you?"
" I share an apartment with Nina and Amber. I am a biochemist and Nina works in the museum down the street. Amber works at Macy's. I'm glad we had this talk."
Alfie just laughs. " Me too."
So just letting you know..
There is no Amber/Fabian, Mara/Alfie, or Patricia/Jerome romances ( unless you want them! Lol) Here are the roommates.
