"Rachel!" Quinn moaned. "Rachel! RACHEL!"
The petite blond got her crazy eyes on, and waddled over to her best friend. She tapped the tiny brunette on the shoulder. "Can I help you?" the brunette asked. Quinn smiled smugly.
"I want my red velvet cupcake." Her voice was cheery, yet bitchy. Rachel rolled her eyes and continued writing a letter. "Rachel, you better listen closely. My peanut butter pickles are wearing off and I want a red velvet cupcake!"
Rachel dropped her pen, and quickly walked (as fast as she could), to her bedroom. A minute later she came back with her Coach purse, and was ready to go. "Let's go before your head explodes."
"Are you happy now?" Rachel asked.
"Very." Quinn answered, smiling. "Now that I have my red velvet's, we can go back to the apartment." She said matter-of-factly. She and Rachel both shared an apartment, because their husbands were both New York Giants, and traveled all the time.
The two both fell pregnant at the same time, and now are inseparable. Quinn has to go pee, Rachel goes with her. Rachel feels fat, Quinn feels fat. Quinn wants bacon, Rachel cooks it.
They go everywhere, do the same thing, and have the same hormonal changes. "We're practically the same person." Rachel would always say.
Halfway to their apartment, Rachel stopped abruptly. Her eyes went wide, and she clutched her back.
"You okay, Rach?" Quinn asked. She sounded unconcerned, but she had other things on her mind. It starts with R, V, and C, and ends up in Quinn's belly.
Rachel nodded, "Yeah. I just have a really bad back ache." She said. "It's been happening all day." As if the pain knew, it sent another jolt to Rachel's back. The girl held onto her friend, and ended up making her drop the bag of cupcakes.
"My cupcakes!"
"Forget about the cupcakes!" Rachel shouted. "I think I'm in labor."
Quinn's eyes bulged as she remembered reading something about back labor. "Like that's ever gonna happen to someone." She remembered thinking. "Rachel, you're going to have a baby!"
"Yes, yes I am." Rachel said between breaths. "Now, if you don't mind… could you get a taxi?"
"Right." Quinn scurried to the side of the rode, flailing her arms for a taxi. That's when it happened to her; her water broke. Right there on the side of the street, in New York City. With her friend, that's also in labor. "Hell no."
A few hours later, Ava McKenzie Hudson was born, shortly followed by McKenzie Ava Puckerman.
"Like I said, 'we do EVERYTHING together.'" Rachel said, sitting next to Quinn. "Every little thing."
Quinn laughed, "Aren't you happy we went to get those red velvet cupcakes?"
"Yes. Yes I am."
"Me too." Two voices said next to them. Finn Hudson and Noah Puckerman sat on two hospital chairs, stuffing their faces into cream cheese frosting.
