I don't own WIZARD OF WAVERLY PLACE. I got this idea from the eppy where Alex saves Mason.
Alex looked at the calendar. She groaned. Justin's birthday was tomorrow. She needed to come up with an idea for his birthday. For some reason she wanted it to be special.
What would Justin want?
"Hey Alex," Mason said coming up behind her and covering her eyes.
"THAT'S IT! MASON YOU'RE A GENIUS! I know what I'm getting Justin for his birthday"
"What are you getting him?"
"I'm going to," she lowered her voice, "bring back Juliet"
"Alex-"
"Mason I have to do this," Alex said, "He's my brother and I love him. I just… I have to do it"
Mason sighed to himself.
"Alex there's only one thing that will bring her back. I'm afraid it's… less then pleasant. It would be too hardstaking for you and I'm afraid I'm just going to have to veto the idea"
"Well I'm going to have to veto your veto," Alex said
"Alex you'd have to drink a bitter root potion. You would spend all day in imaginable agony"
"I DON'T CARE," Alex said, "I love my brother. Yes I tease him a lot. Yes there are times I'm pissed at him.
"Do I want to suffer from _ so to speak? NO! Of course I don't but seeing my brother hurting from missing her is like _ times 100 squared. I'm not going to let Justin lose Juliet for another minute and if that means I'm going to be in some pain from a bitter root potion then FINE.
"I would face the Wiz IN PERSON if it meant making my brother smile again, finding Juliet again. Bottoms up"
Mason bit back a comment. Alex swallowed down the drink. Mason was right in saying it was terrible.
She spent the whole day coughing, sputtering, barely breathing, sweating and moaning in pain. The next day on Justin's birthday when Alex sang, "Happy Birthday Dear Justin Happy Birthday To You" and YOUNG Juliet came in the _ pain was all worth it.
"Alex," Justin said hugging his sister, "I don't know how you did it but that's the nicest thing anyone's ever done for me. I love you"
"Back at you kid," Alex said with a smile
