Disclaimer: I don't own X-Men, Avengers, or anything to do with the marvel Universe. I own a couple of comics.
A/N: Hey. If you're reading this, then thank you. This is basically Civil War from my (Over-caffeinated) point of view. It's listed as Avengers, but will contain guest appearances from the entire MU - Especially the Young Avengers, as I always thought of Cap and Iron Man kind of like the Mom and dad of the group.
Civil War:
The Marital Spat.
Thomas "Speed" Shepherd walked into the room, pulling off his heavy rucksack and drop-kicking it into the corner. "Mom, I'm home!", he bellowed.
At that point, Steve Rogers walked out of the kitchen, a pink frilly apron over his uniform. "How was your day, honey? I made cookies."
"It sucked royally." In the time it took Cap to blink, the white-haired teen had arrived in the kitchen, eaten three of the tiny sugar cookies, and was reaching for a third. "You know whose class they put me in? Billy's. You know whose pretty much a total nerd in all our classes? Billy. You know whose school I wanted to blow up?" Cap slapped Tommy's hand away from the cookies. "Don't eat so much, you'll spoil your appetite for dinner. And let me guess – Billy's?"
"Bingo."
"Well, it'll get better, I'm sure. After all, if you follow the rules-"
At this point, Billy burst through the door. Neither Steve nor Tommy saw his face, as he was busy yelling at Cassie. "You're not my real mother!"
"No, but I love your father very much, and you will give me all the respect you would her – AND SHE KILLED MY FATHER!", screeched a now supersized Stature.
THUNK.
All four avengers, Young and new, turned around to the source of the noise – A window. It appeared Teddy Altman had flown straight into one.
"You okay, Son?", queried Steve as he rolled the window up and pulled Hulkling inside. Teddy drew breath to answer, but then suddenly looked panicked when he noticed the occupants of the room. "Nyar!", he squeaked, running into the neighbouring room. Cap, Cassie and Tommy looked puzzled for a second, before turning around to stare at Billy expectantly.
The mage shrugged. "Don't look at me – I have a time-honoured family tradition of sporadically going bugfuck insane at random points in time which seem...Rushed, sloppy, and as if someone is attempting to make things "Darker and edgier"."
At this point, Teddy's voice sounded through the wall. "Sorry – I was very nearly within a foot's radius of Billy. That could have led to physical contact."
All the occupants of the room nodded sagely, even as a heavily-making-out Kate and Eli walked – Well, stumbled – Into the room. "You did the right thing, Son," Cap solemly stated. "You did the right thing."
A/N: Well, what do you think? Should I give up writing? Add more chapter? Reveiws would be greatly appreciated :)
