A Dream Pair Oneshot
Eiji is squeamish, to say the least. Sitting across from his boyfriend, his eyes dart around Fuji's bedroom in an awkward silence.
"Eijiko, what's the matter?" Fuji asks. "You've been like this for a while now."
The redhead only shifts around in reply.
"Is there something you need to tell me?"
Now Eiji nods.
"Is it about school?"
Eiji shakes his head.
"Tennis?"
Another negative, yet silent, response.
"Us?"
The acrobat freezes.
"Okay, it's about us," Fuji concludes. "Since you won't meet my gaze and you won't talk, I'm going to assume it's about our relationship."
Eiji doesn't reply.
"Is there someone else you like? Oishi, perhaps?"
This suggestion is met with wide eyes from the catlike third year, maybe saying: how did you know?
"Well, this is certainly interesting," Fuji murmurs. "But it does explain a lot…"
Louder, he continues, "How long have you known this?"
Eiji squirms around again.
"You're not being much help, you know." The tensai's normal smile has disappeared, and his azure eyes are staring at Eiji with a usually unseen intensity. "You… you could've told me before."
Eiji mumbles to himself, shaking his head slowly.
"Spit it out!" Fuji cries out.
The redhead's eyes look at the ground as Fuji puts his head in his hands. Silence engulfs both boys.
"I can't take this anymore!" Eiji yells. "Fujiko-chan, where is your bathroom? I have to pee! I forgot where it is and I was trying so hard not to… um… wet myself… that I couldn't exactly talk…"
