Spiderman and Deadpool tumbled through the door breathing heavily and leaning on each other for support looking beaten and bruised. Wade was holding most of Peter's weight while the ladder was slipping in and out of consciousness. Peter had tears and scorch marks on his suit with a large blood spot on his side that was beginning to spread over his abdomen. While Wade was missing the bottom half of his left arm and you could see a smaller version forming in its place. All of this damage caused by one person and that was Nitro. They were on their normal patrol on separatesides of the city when Spiderman had been attacked by the villainNitro. Spiderman was at a disadvantage while dealing with him because everytimehe webbed him Nitro just heated his body temperature up and burned thewebs right off of himself.
Deadpool had heard his partner yell out over the earpiece and then a grunt of pain and had already started off towards him. By the time he had gotten to them, Spiderman had already looked banged up and tired and you could see the deep gash on his side. Wade seeing his partner hurt quickly jumped into action pulling out his dualpistols and firing off six rounds at the villain. He was confident that they would take Nitro down but when the bullets got close enough to him they melted. Seeing this happen Wadepulled out his katanas and charged the villain.
"Wade no he can-" Peternever got to finish his sentence because Wade scream cut through the night like a hot knife through butter. When Wade had gotten close enough to swing his blades at Nitro a whip of fire had swung from the villain and licked the side of his lower left arm and was gone as fast as it had come. Wade hadn't realizedwhat had happened until his katana had clattered onto the dirty concrete beneath his feet. After hearing the crash of metal he looked down to see his left arm cut off at the elbow still gripping his katana laying on the ground.
Wade and Peter turned back towards Nitro seeing him hiss and back away as the blood from the arm touched his skin and sizzled. Peter noticing this shot a web at a nearby fire hydrant and ripped it from the ground letting a stream of pressurized water shoot in the villain's direction and hit him. When the two heard sirens wailing towards their direction they tied up Nitro in webs and made their way from the scene with Wade pulling his now blood-soakedkatana from the fallen hand. That brings us to the two now maskless partners panting heavily on the floor.
"Come on baby boy lets get you cleaned and thenpatchedup," Wade grunted out while standing and then picking up Peter with his good arm and making his way towards the bathroom. Wade quickly stripped the smaller male out of clothing and sat him in the bathtub now filled with lukewarm water and cleaned him before toweling him down. Wade moved the still unconscious teen into the room and on the bed before going back to the bathroom and grabbing the bag filled with medical supplies they kept under the sink before making his way back to Peter.
The mercenary pulled out burn cream applying it to the younger males side around the deep gash before wrapping it up. He moved Peter under the covers in a comfortable position on his side, covered him up, and placed a light kiss on his lips before making his way back to the bathroom intent on taking a shower and cleaning all the grime off of himself.
