He pulled up his bags to practice.
She went along.
He didn't take a single breath to stop.
She didn't either.
He started to bleed.
She cried inside her heart.
He wanted to continue.
She made him stop.
He couldn't help but listen.
She couldn't help but care.
He looked down on his scars.
She took him by the hand.
He was startled by the warmth.
She was healing him by a single touch.
He headed home.
She led him in his path.
He didn't know what to say.
She just kept close by him.
He stopped in his tracks.
She looked up at his face.
He stared deep in her eyes.
She was beautiful.
He hugged her thank you.
She turned red with joy.
He said he'll protect her forever.
She said she'll be by his side.
He paused in silence.
She watched as his long hair swayed.
He didn't know how to put it but said it anyway.
She heard the words escape his lips.
'I love you.'
Their lips touched.
